Someone is really trying to argue that lgbtq people in the US & UK aren’t oppressed. I can only speak for the US because that’s where I live. My question is do you think that queer people are still oppressed where you live? I think so because I’m pretty sure that there’s been queer phobic laws that’s been ed within the last 5 years.

I can't speak for areas I don't live. My state (us) is pretty great
In the USA it’s definitely suppressed here the state I live in has specific laws regarding people of the lgbtq community
SO like- stay safe people
I live in the UK. And yeah, very suppressed. But it’s pretty much like that everywhere. You’ll always find people hating. For whatever reason, wether their insecure, their upbringing, religion and so on
