Do y’all have an issue with people using the term “enby”?
I used the term in a post and someone made a big deal about it. They said that most nonbinary people don’t care for the term, and they went on to say that I should use a term that the majorly uses. I see a lot of nonbinary people use the term “enby”. I’ve NEVER seen anyone say that they disliked the term, so I don’t know what this person talking about.
Obviously, I wouldn’t call someone an “enby” if they didn’t want to be called that, but I used the term in a general sense. Like, I wasn’t talking about anyone specifically. There’s people that don’t like being called nonbinary either, so it’s like…I can’t win here. I can’t please everyone.

I personally like the term enby for myself. Any gender label or even the term non-binary can seem a bit intimidating or even too formal in a way. Like if I casually say I’m non-binary it somehow feels a bit more formal than just casually saying I’m enby. Does that make sense? That’s just for me though. Sort of like the difference in formality between saying “LGBTQIA+” vs “lgbt+” it’s just how casually you want to be and what fits the situation. That’s how I see it. I hope this makes sense. (Also if you disagree please be respectful and let me know in a comment)
That makes sense and I agree tbh.
You could make a "see results" options so we others can see them without messing them up.
My bad. I forgot :joy: I’ll add it now.
