Flawed

Midnight symphonies dance across the sky

The peaceful silence is just a beautiful lie.

Fear and darkness go hand in hand

Yet when its dark I understand;

Clouded eyes can see only what is shown

Open your eyes to peer into the unknown.

Don't let fear stop you from seeing

The thoughts that swirl can also be freeing.

Every story is not as it seems

Even the true ones can start out as dreams.

An angel can exist, and still posess flaws

Yet looking at its face will give you no pause.

Beauty is seen as a gift bestowed

Yet beauty allows jealousy to be sewed

Spell work that can glaze over any sight

forgotten about till deep in the night

When memories creep in to show the truth

The innocent angel just might be uncouth

Yet its drowning in an endless sea that no one seems to find

But who'd be able to find the sea that's hidden in a mind.

Innocence can lie, and darkness can be sweet

Out of everything you know, nothing is complete

The angel is deadly once it feels scorned

So before you approach it, be forewarned:

The angel lies, its a demon in disguise

So don't be surprised if you see its cold eyes

Because once it flies, there will be no goodbyes.
