:dango: Dream Job Challenge :dango:

Hello everyone, It's Kiya here, and this my entry for the #Dreamjobchall So before I get started I have more than one dream job including, perfessional cosplayer, pole dancer, and to open my own shop to sell witchcraft supplies, but for this challenge I'm going to use the job that I always wanted to do since I was a kid and that is A café baristia... I know right, it sounds completely different than my other 2 dream jobs but don't worry I'm going to explain right now!

What is a Barista?

A barista is a "coffee artist” who has extensive knowledge about coffee and prepares, tale orders, decorates and serves drinks to the customers

So why do I want this job?

First and foremost, I want to work in a customer-facing role where I get the opportunity to make a positive difference to people's lives.More and more people are buying coffee and hot drinks and they are choosing their coffee company carefully. I want to work for a company who will teach me how to do the job properly and create amazing coffee and providing amazing customer service. The role involves opening the store, taking orders and payments from costomers, grinding the coffee beans and making coffee and other drinks to the correct specification, cleaning the shop, serving the food in the correct specification creating stock and food displays and providing exceptional customer service at all times.

What inspired me to want this job?

All my life I always enjoyed helping people and I love preparing coffee and other drinks, in Middle School and even now in High School one of my favorite places to go after school is the local Starbucks about a mile away from my house and I walk there quite often the workers are always so kind and caring a few even recognise me since I go there so often to get coffee.

What do I need to study for this job?

I would need to study, how to make certain drinks, etc. and I would need to take a barista training class.

What do I need for the job?

I would need more experience with food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred. Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation. And exceptional listening and communication skills.

Conclusion

Honestly I'm not sure if this is a job I will do full time in the future, this is more of a job I would like to do part time for fun, I still want to presude my dreams of becoming a cosplayer or something that would make a better income, lol.
