Day 125 || Ash and Xander

((This is a story I am writing based off a roleplay plot of mine. The story takes place in the point of view of a young writer writing in a diary, after waking up outside the walls of “the Gone” a gated village community in the middle of no where, keeping out the dangers of the rest of the void field. I hope you all enjoy.))

Day 125

I cannot believe I have actually kept this up for 125 days. This is the most I have ever committed to anything. With that being said, this entry has to be about something, correct? So I was walking to the town square today, and I noticed Xander and Ash arguing about something. I wouldn’t have even bothered thinking about their interaction, if it wasn’t for the fact that Xander never got into arguments. Ever. Though Xander seemed put off, and it was the first time I had seen him mad. However, this is not the first time I have caught the two arguing.

Now this raised a question: why do Xander and Ash hate each other so much? Sure, their personalities are rather opposite, with Xander being wild and carefree, while Ash was more calm and Quite unless provoked. I have never been able to hear what they are arguing about, because as soon as they think someone’s listening, they go quite and drop the argument. Ash and Xander never seem to get along, even when around the other of the gone. Xander turns rather salty towards Ash, and Ash gets noticeably bitter in return. The two seem to ignore each other whenever they can, but when they do talk, their conversations are filled with Short sentences, long glares and Bitter tones.

Though, Xander and Ash haven’t always seemed to hate each other this much. In fact, 124 days ago, when I first got the the gone, the two introduced me together, and they seemed almost inseparable. Like... brothers, maybe. But over time, they became distant, and their looks toward each other are filled with despise. Now Ash never goes with Xander to greet new of the gone. Xander does it alone. Though, it’s clear that Xander misses some of the time he has spent with Ash. One example of this that I have picked up on, is the fact that Every Friday after lunch, the two would take a walk out by the farm, with the horses, and they would laugh, and joke around, but now Xander just sits in his house from 12pm to about 1pm every day, closing himself for from the world for the hour or so he would have spent with Ash. However, Ash never does the same, and he never seems to miss anything.

. I’m running out of space to write on this page so I’ll write more tomorrow. I’ll try to find out more about Ash and Xander in the meantime.
