Questions

who are you?

I’m Cidney! I reside in the US and my pronouns are they/xem! I’m 21 years old and I love anything to do with art! I’m a full-time student/musician. I also work part-time teaching drumline as well as cashiering.

what inspired you?

I took this photo at my partner’s house. I see these flowers every time I visit, but I didn’t really pay close enough attention to them until I really looked at them. I really like the colors and such! It was like they were something new when I last went to visit. Sometimes, I forget to stop and take in everything around me. So, that’s what I spired need to take a photo! As a reminder to stop and take everything in once in a while. :)

how long did it take?

The photo itself only took a few minutes. The filter, however, took a while to get just right. I use the app Polarr to make filters sometimes. I thought that enhancing the red and adjusting the light of the background would be very nice! Overall I would say it took maybe 30-40 minutes total.

what did you use?

I used my phone (iPhone 12 mini) to capture the photo, as well as Polarr to edit the photo and get the filter on there.
