Hey guys! It's meh, the softest and most sleepy doggo in all 10 dimensions. I'm here with my first ever challenge entry post! This one is the #childhoodmemorieschall

·Task : Describe a Favorite Childhood Memory or Toy!

·And of course : I'm writing about a memory and a toy :3

The Dentist

So I when I was 7 I had severe cavities, most likely from 4 years of Halloween candy. My mom had to schedule an appointment at a dentist, and at the time I didn't know what they were going to do to my mouth.

About a month ed and it was finally time to go. The drive was like 45 minutes long, and the dentist's office was pretty dope. Of course it had the smell of latex and cleaner in the air, but they did have two classic arcade games in there. One was PacMan and the other was Asteroids. Of course, as a 7 year old gamer I wanted to play, but of course there were so many other 5 and 6 year olds that were fighting over the machine. And I actually mean fighting. You know those pens the dentist has on the desk? Yeah a little boy grabbed one and stabbed this other kids balloon. So instead I sat in a chair and played with those colorful beads on a metal wire.

Anyway, I was finally called to go be attacked by crazy devil dentist's. I walked back there with my mom and they led me to a very large room with one chair. My mom lift me into the chair and I started to slightly panick. My mom gave me a breakdown of what they were gonna do.

"First, they're gonna give you gas that makes you really sleepy, and then they're gonna drill out some teeth, then put silver caps on."

I was sitting there like "Bish you didn't want to tell me that on the drive here??" The dentist came in and asked me what flavor of gas I wanted. The choices were bubblegum, orange, or cherry. Because I've tasted a wide variety of medicine, I knew that bubblegum and orange were the WORST choices, so I chose cherry. They put a mask over my mouth and nose and told me to lay back.

Then I started to freak out. I grabbed my mom's hand super tightly while the dentist told me to count down from 20. I the gas felt like I was drifting away from my body. I didn't even start counting before I was out.

Some time later I woke up. My mouth was so dry, and I was sooo tired. It felt like a dream at first, to be honest. My mom came back with a cup of sprite, and that was my first time having soda. I got to look at my mouth and I saw about 5 silver caps over my teeth. Turns out when the teeth fall out, the cap stays on and the Tooth Fairy gives you extra money for those.

Later on I got to pick something out of the toy chest. Ya know, that thing they give you for being such a good patient. There were a bunch of small plastic toys, but at the bottom was a stuffed animal. I spent 5 minutes digging in that thing and I finally got it. It was a soft brown doggo. He had a red scarf with a snowflake, and the numbers 2012. He had a squeaker inside his tummy, so whenever I squeezed him he squeaked! I named him Charlie, and we've been inseparable ever since that day.
