Today's takeover theme is musicals. But more specifically this takeover is going to be about the musical Chicago.

Let's get into it shall we?

Chicago is a 1975 American musical. The musical is actually set in Chicago with the era of jazz. The musical is a portrayal of corruption of criminal justice.

The original production of this musical was in Broadway in 1975. It ran for an outstanding number of 936 proformaces.

The director of the musical was Bob Fossee who both directed and choreographed the whole production.

This was actually the musical that held the record of the longest running American musical in Broadway.

This was the second ever running musical next to the phantom of the opera.

Roxie Hart is an villan and murderer who is sent to jail after she committed a murder.

Velma Kelly

A villain and murderer who is on trial for murdering her cheating husband and sister.

Billy Flynn

A laywer of Velma and Roxie. His brilliant record has him portrayed that his clients become celebrities if they win the case.

Amos Hart

This is roxies faithful husband. No one throughout the play really pays attention to him so he tries his best to get roxie to notice him.

Mama

The jail cook that inmates usually do bribes with.

Mary Sunshine

A journalist who follows the trials of both murders.
