Hi there and thank you so much for coming to my Curator’s Application! I’ve been waiting for this moment for a very long time and I finally feel qualified for this part. I’m so excited to announce that I’m finally applying! Anyways, let’s get into it!

⇝ I’ve been on the amino for a couple years beforehand, left, and recently reed and have rekindled so many wonderful memories! Since my renewal, I’ve been on the amino for 3+ months! I specifically write poetry and informational blogs for the community to read!

► My name is Bella, I’m a 15 year old amateur poet, writer, and artist from the United States. I live in a very hot area, specifically Arizona. I love the summer time, writing, art, photography, and helping others. Some of my strong suits are : having a caring personality, a selfless heart, and showing strong and thorough work, especially when I’m ionate about such work. Some of my lacking strengths are : giving harsh punishments, accepting constructive criticism, and feeling a lack of in situations.

► I’d like to be on this amazing team because I love creating a safe and welcoming place for others. I want people from the LGBT+ community to feel that this place is home for them, when they don’t feel comfortable anywhere else. What can I offer the team? I can offer peaceful, reliable solution’s to any issues that come forth, and help create a better place for the LGBT+ community.

► Yes, I’m currently a leader on another amino called Gacha Amino, and I’ve had previous work done in the years before I had left.

► I broke a community guideline once for not showing proof of artwork, cooperated with the leader, and went along my day!

P.S. I usually have higher stats than this but due to my amino being glitchy they’re much lower. I have leaders who can prove this as I’m on other staff teams.

1. You are the only one online. There has been a small swarm of trolls that have just entered the community. One is spamming the feed and the other spamming chats with Inappropriate content. What is your course of action?

For the troll spamming the feed, I’d warn them and disable their post(s). For the troll that is spamming chats with inappropriate content, I’d remove them from the chat and warn them as well. If they continued, I’d hide their profiles and message a leader.

2. You have disabled a post for being considered spam. They are not happy, and are starting to harass you and call you names. How do you handle the situation?

I’d tell them that the situation can be handled if they cooperate, and that if they post one blog/wiki/poll at a time than their post is okay. If they continue, I’d warn them or send a message to a leader.

3. You are moderating a chat/post, and you see an altercation between 2 or more . What's your course of action?

I’d ask them to please talk out the situation in a private chat, and if it continued to spark anger, I’d disable the comments and speak to them both privately, with a leaders input.

4. A member is asking for your help with a situation in their PMs about someone asking sexual/innapropriate things and or sending them. They have evidence to their claim. What do you do?

I’d ask them for the evidence first, and if the evidence is sufficient I’d look up the name/name, and give them a heavy warning, message them and tell them what they did was Inappropriate. If this continued, I’d send the link to a leader.

5. What would you do if you had a fight with another curator?

I most likely wouldn’t have a fight with a curator in the first place, but If I did, I’d tell them something along the lines of; “I don’t want to strike a fight with someone I’m working with, especially since we should be working together and not apart, I’m sorry for what I’ve done to offend you and hurt you and I hope we can continue being friends.”

6. What would you do if you had a fight with a leader?

Same thing as the curator, simply.

7. What would you do if a member has been posting about sensitive topics, such as suicide, or depression?

I’d ask them to add a trigger warning to their post, but if their post went against the guidelines, I’d have to give them a warning or disable their post(s).

8. You get a report a member of staff is abusing their power. How would you approach this situation?

I’d ask the for proof and send this information to a leader.

9. You see a chat/post with people saying negative things about staff/a certain staff member what do you do?

I’d immediately take down or disable the chat/post and ask them not to speak down on others in the amino.

10. You see a curator leaking information to a member. What do you do?

I’d have to alert a leader to handle the situation further.
