art dump 3rd edition!!

We're back at it this time and while a lot has changed since my last dump, one thing stayed the same: im obsessed with an oc. This one has no name yet but she's a vampire so she'll be featured quite a ton in this post. So, i hope yall will enjoy reading my full thoughts and process for every drawing :muscle:

starting off pretty well, this one was mostly a test drawing meant for me to try out a new rendering method that i really liked since it made the process a bit faster than the one i had before. While the drawing in itself isnt really that good (i wouldve changed multiple details if i could, like the godawful mouth) id call it a success! Dont assume ill start using it anytime soon tho

this one was a mix of me being inspired by my pinterest showing me cool makeup looks and hairstyles and me wanting to retry the rendering test i did before (spoiler: i forgot how i did it and fucked up the drawing mid way) As you can see by the hand, i kinda gave up midway lmao. I still really like the colors of the character i drew and may redraw her sometimes.

while not being any close to what i would consider good art made by me, i felt like i had to add it since, well, i drew it. It was a quick drawing i did for someone's oc because i was really bored :v:

Now thats where it all goes down. Me and my friend start talking abt a game we used to love which was like some type of fantasy otome game with really good story and it inspired me to draw an oc from that universe. I wanted her to be a vampire and i started sketching something. When it came to palette, i was hesitating on two wannabes and my friend helped me choose the less popular depiction of a vampire.

However, i wasnt satisfied with it. It didnt feel like something original, an oc that had a special thing to be recognized. So i redid her on paper. I scrambled ideas of things i wanted to incorporate and based myself off of that. (Bats, piercings, goth, ribbons, doll etc). Since i didnt know what outfit to do i asked my fashion obsessed friend to help me and she gave me some inspiration pictures to use so i could understand what she meant by goth lolita.

unfortunately for me, i took the inspirations too litteral and didnt do a great job. I redid it.

this time, i went for the more traditional look and made sure to add a thousand layers of skirts onto her. My friend approved 🫶

now i was obsessed with how it turned out and wanted to try and add the official colors to it, so i remade it digitally. Poor girly lost her sass in the process and i got way too lazy to finish the full shadows. Left it at that !!

i doodle way too much but here is some made up character i drew, inspired from a quick drawing i made in math class of a girl w a hood and messy hair. I really liked the facial expressions and may developp her more.

back to my little vampire, i decided at like midnight to do her in a bit of a more dynamic setting and inspired the fit from a cute anime figure i saw online. While i loved the doodle, some misproportions forced me to change the head shape when i did it digitally :broken_heart:

this one i took 5 hours to do and maybe took one break in between, i was in the art zone or something but overall im pretty proud of how it turned out!

it was late at night. I really wanted to draw but had no idea for my vampire so i made a new character. Shes giving thinker bell or smtg with the leaf dress i would see her as a forest fairy? In this, i think i made her tangled up in vines... i really dont know what i was doing

redrew her right after, i lwk like the bug eye idea for her. Might developp her character?
