TW: mentions of serious injuries.
So I was at the park with my doggo earlier today and this guy saw my cast and, seeming concerned, asked what happened and how I broke my arm. I told him it was from a car accident and for a second he was shocked, then said at first he thought it was from falling off a trampoline or something. I said no and proceeded to explain how the accident happened. He started to look annoyed at that and said I didn't have to lie to get attention, and walked off.
I was in a serious car accident almost two months ago now in which I fractured my neck, shattered my orbital floor, broke my nose, and snapped my ulna in half. I almost lost my eye. I was a enger in the backseat. I couldn't unbuckle myself to get out because my arm was broken and I was barely conscious. My friend had to pull me out of the car, and according to her it exploded not long afterwards. I almost died. I can't even ride in a car now without getting extreme anxiety every time we hit a bump or encounter another car in the road, and this man had the AUDACITY to accuse me of LYING about this severe accident in which I almost DIED.
Yes, I'm going to fabricate a whole story about how I acquired my very real injuries just to impress a complete stranger I'm never going to see again. Obviously.
