A gopher keeps eating my flowers and mining equipment is expensive

Been awhile. Here’s a dump

Went to the zoo spontaneously with my little brother. Felt like I hadn’t done anything other than work in quite awhile, probably same for him. It was very nice, but there were quite a few children I wanted to kick. Still, the animals made me happy.

Got into my first car accident. I’ve only had this truck for 3 weeks, haven’t even made my first payment on it yet. But I love it, I was excited to take some adventures in it. But an old lady decided she just HAD to blow through her stop sign and shred my entire front end. I’m sad, angry, frustrated, and beyond poor. This was the last thing I needed. Thankfully her insurance will cover it, it’s being fixed as I type this. But now my insurance will go up even though I wasn’t at fault and that sucks.

Been collecting a lot of vinyl lately. Not sure why, as I usually collect cds. Maybe I just needed a change or something new in my life. But most of them have been exceptionally pretty and I’m excited to hopefully actually find a player worth buying soon. This is one of the prettiest so far, Knocked Loose’s new album on a blue algae/marble.

I shaved. Seemingly insignificant to you, perhaps, but monumental for me. I don’t like it but I like it. Idfk. Dimples get their time in sun for now

This gangway at work is finally finished. We had every component of it cut, welded, and polished about 3 months ago except for those handrails because for whatever reason they took that long to come in from wherever we order our metal from. Glad to have it out of the shop finally.

Wrote a lil something yesterday. Haven’t been writing as much lately as my head hasn’t been in the gutter as often as it was about a month ago, but it still likes to pop up and startle me from time to time. God a few decent ones finished, this isn’t one of them.

Feet locked in a cramping stalemate,

boot soles a spawning ground for quicksand and cement.

Taste the lactic acid on my teeth,

caustic sweet tooth.

My heels countersunk and bolted,

anchored permanently to interpersonal strife.

Inertia carries the dead weight ever onward.

Buckle back and break at the knees,

collide face and stone.

A little kiss from Life.

The pavement is a flesh mechanic,

melds my body with the gravel,

welds my flayed skin to the roots of the earth.

“Road work ahead”,

coalesce into a path to be walked all over.

Trample me you shall,

though reminded constantly.

My tarred remains boil and seep from every roadway,

from every structure,

from every memory.

Odorous and effervescent.

Denervated and emulsified.

Deconstructed to a sopping genetic slop,

but I’m omnipresent in your experience.

You can not escape me,

just as I can not escape myself.

A lot is happening all at once right now. I’m not comfortable with it. I’m over stimulated, everything is too loud and too often, I can’t keep tabs on where I am and how I am. I’m sleep deprived from my new meds fucking with me and I’m not making enough money to enjoy any aspect of life right now, but I don’t know what to do about that because I can’t afford to find a new job either. Just trying to survive in my own head until something comes along in the universe to aid me a touch. Hopefully something does. For now I’ll water my plants, keep my room clean, run my beads straight, and try not to worry too much. What will happen will happen.
