So when I was 12 or so, I made up a little medieval fantasy universe (well, I suppose not much of a "fantasy" universe, as it doesn't have any overtly fantastical elements). In this universe, 5 tribes had all been conquered by the neighbouring country of Kreunia, and those still loyal to the old tribes had to get over their old rivalries to oppose the new regime from the shadows.
Anyway, I "recently" made some customs based on the original ones I'd made for these factions, and thought I'd show them off along with some lore. Though "customs" is perhaps somewhat of a generous term for most of these, they're mostly based very closely on Castle/Kingdoms designs.
:snake:
First up, the Snake tribe!

Living isolated in the east, guarded by mountain ranges on all sides, the Snake tribe needed only a small army to adequately protect their turf against the other tribes, utilizing their men in dense, nigh-unbreakable phalanx formations.
Secondly, the Dragon Tribe!

Their land more barren than most of the land of the other tribes, the Dragon tribe tried to offset this disadvantage with technology and industry. Mining iron from their mountains and building fierce war machines, this tribe boasted one of the most powerful fighting forces of the tribes.
:virgo:
Moving on, we've got the Ornamental tribe!

Blessed with bountiful soil and hills full of gold, the abundance of the tribe let it develop into the cultural capital of the region, its army becoming largely ceremonial, and the tribe relying more on strong defensive positions for protecting their sovereignty.

Up next is the Lion tribe!

Neighbouring two of the least fertile parts of the land, the Dragon tribe and the Skull tribe, the Lion tribe had to be able to endure attacks both from well-organised armies and swift raiding parties, forging a proud warrior culture.
:skull:
And the last tribe, the Skull tribe!

Living in the cold and mountainous north, the skull tribe was more of a catch-all term for various individual settlements with their own chieftains, who only sometimes worked together.
:crown:
Finally, the army of Kreunia!

Little is known about Kreunia, but two things are certain; their vassal is a cruel man, and his army is as organised as a beehive.
So that's it for that post, hope ya liked it and I'll see you guys soon
