Cherry Blossom Tree

Hello!!

I’m here today with my blog for the #teamtrees incentive that’s currently going on. When I first heard of the challenge, I was eager to get involved. I don’t do many community challenges, but this one is bringing attention to something that I feel is very relevant in today’s society.

My build was inspired by those beautiful cherry blossom trees that you’ll often see in pictures of areas in China.

The idea is that this young cherry blossom tree is planted on a hill, and as it grows nature blossoms around it.

Small stone pathways that have been broken down over the generations can be seen on both sides of the hill.

And vibrant foliage can be seen all around the hillside, using a handful of different techniques.

The people of this area love the hillside and what it represents - life! One woman in the back is picking up some pink leaves to take home, whilst another two ladies are strolling along and enjoying the view.
