          ↳the apocalypse has been taking its toll on gabriel's mental state. on top of the trauma he faced while being bullied, seeing the world around him crumble as caused some problems. symtoms of an anxiety disorder have been becoming more noticable, to where even his group would be able to recognize them. anxiety disorders run on his mother's side of the family, and with everything that's been going on, the risk of gabriel developing one increased. symtoms of depression have also been noticed by more observant group , but of course, gabriel is getting any help he can in a time like this.

         ↳gabriel has gotten a few cuts and bruises, but that's to be expected. his physical health is in good shape. he has no underlying conditions or illnesses that need to be worried about. his immune system is good, as there have been times when of his family or friend group have gotten sick, and he has not, and overall, he's in good shape.

         ↳gabriel is a fairly logical and responsible young boy, despite how young he is. he is a bit of a perfectionist, and will devote his time to working on a plan, or even a project, to make sure that things go smoothly. he's quite ive of his teammates, but frankly, he will silently judge someone. he's more reserved, and prefers to keep things to himself, but occasionally wears his heart on his sleeve. he's dependable, realistic, loyal, and sweet once his walls are broken down. he is a teenager though, so outbursts and mood swings are bound to happen, regardless of how uncharacteristic they are.

         ↳gabriel has known he was gay for a long time. he's never had a crush on a girl like his other male friends did. if anything, he was repulsed by the idea of being romantically involved with a girl. he's had crushes on boys before as well, and while he accepted himself, he only really came out to his close friends, not his family, and he was content with things being that way. while his identity is important to him, gabriel doesn't want to make it a big deal, which is why he's choosing not to come out to his teammates, unless the plot calls for it.

        →as stated before, gabriel was originally born in seattle, washington, to a ukranian father and a russian mother, and lived in the city until he was five. before he moved, gabriel thrived in the city. he enjoyed socializing and communicating with the people he met, and in school, he had a good amount of friends. however, his family needed to move to savannah, after his father got a new job that required them to leave. he had a lack of friends when he first arrived, and occasionally faced some teasing, but the bullying really started when he was ten, and started expressing himself with more feminine things. he was teased for growing out his hair, and liking pastel colors, and often had his future identity used as an insult. he didn't go to his parents ot the school about this, but a few kids came to his defense one day, and they soon became his good friends.

        →when the apocalypse first began, gabriel had been in class with one of his good friends who had been in his group, cheyenne. reports of the green flu had been on the news, but there was a lack of panic, which essentially caused him to remain calm. until the school suddenly went on lockdown. long story short, a few students suddenly turned violent in class, and attacked other peers and teachers. gabriel and his classmates had been evacuated, and everyone was instructed to go home for the day. however, he and cheyenne had other ideas. they went to investigate savannah, rather than return to their families, but what they saw wasn't expected. the town was practically swarming with people who seemed to be undead, with pale skin and eyes that were practically growing. they were as quiet as possible, and in a frantic attempt to escape the city, they just got further into it. they wound up getting separated, and what happened to cheyenne after that is unknown. now, gabriel had a new group, and their first priority is surviving.
