Hello!
Luciano is here with a new quick post!
Warning Or Disabling Straight Away?
On the Aminos I curate on, we never warn anyone before disabling their post/profile (but we send out mod messages, of course).I find it necessary to hide posts right away if they break our guidelines ; for example, if I find a gore drawing without any gore warnings. In my opinion, it makes no sense to warn someone about putting gore warnings in a post. The gore warnings are here to make sure nobody who doesn't like gore gets to see it while scrolling down the latest feed, so to prevent that from happening, disabling the post until the includes gore warnings is the best. It's really hard to keep track of all of the warned s, and it takes one second to enable someone's profile/post.After all, it breaks the guidelines, why wait?
Your Opinion
I wanted to hear if others warn s before disabling their content, or disable them straight away. What do you think about the way I moderate, do you think it's wrong, and if so, why? Please comment below, I am really curious to hear everyone's opinion!^^

I usually disable first and message them to correct.
But it also depends sometimes. If its something small message to warn them to edit the post first. If it doesnt happen in 24 hrs disable.
I personally disable them right away, and send a message saying the reason behind it or what they need to correct to re-enable the post.
We have a crediting team and they give warnings first. Then if they still didn’t give credit after a certain amount of time, we disable them.
Also, on our amino, every time a new movie comes out, we allow two weeks- one month of spoiler probation meaning we immediately disable posts without proper spoiler warnings and re-enable them once the author fixes it^^
For credit purpose ( generally on art, edits and news ) and word mistakes ( like triggering words/sentences in a post ) ~ we warn them to correct it.
other than that anything which violets the Universal and my Amino Guidelines ~ we disable them straight away and send them mod messages.
Depends on severity, I'd say. If it needs to be hidden straight away, then tell them why in the mod message that comes tagged along with the disabled post.
