Concerning the Latest Feed Error

Hello, everyone. Today I’m addressing an error that is happening across multiple communities and effecting moderation everywhere. What is that error, you may ask? Well, the latest feed loading error.

What is this error?

This error causes the latest feed on your Amino to freeze up and not load. It displays a concerning error message, one that has popped up in communities around the world. In the community where I curate, this message has popped up for every staff member at different times, no matter if we’ve updated our version of the app or not.

How does this affect us?

No latest feed mean you can’t moderate things that would potentially be harmful to your community. It also means that in your community cannot have their posts seen, so if there’s a question that needs answered there’s no way of doing that.

What can we do?

We can wait. Waiting is probably the best thing, even though we don’t know when this issue will be fixed. I suggest creating a post about this issue and feature it in your community. That way your can discuss the issue, ask potential questions, and give you more information about the situation from their end.

Another thing we can do is Team Amino. Now, I’m not saying to blow up their inbox with concerns about this issue, but I think at least one staff member from each community with the issue should sent in a report. That way you know that your issue will be fixed eventually, and you’re letting TA know that it’s on your Amino, too. Other than that, just be patient and hope for the best!! :D
