what exactly does a
therapist do? here
i will explain it simply:
a therapist works with
the patient much like a
psychiatrist would. however
a core difference is therapist
relys on behavioral treatments
and psychotherapy. a
therapist uses cognitive
behavioral therapy, talk
therapy, psycodynamic
therapy, and so many more
to work through and manage
anything from day to day
life, substance abuse, traumatic
events, etc. if you want to

"He draws from his past experiences first and if he doesn't have any experience with a certain thing he does as much research as possible to make sure the patient feels understood. He focuses on identity, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation/self mutilation. While on the surface he may not seem like hard worker, he does work a lot. Its usually drawn out, though he always meets his deadlines. Usually."

“Roswell is serious but light hearted especially if he's dealing with a child. He tends to take a lot of notes on his patients because he finds it beneficial. If the patient is more of a serious/aggressive person he's a bit more careful with how he talks with them to avoid any issue but typically he is tries to keep it friendly and pleasant. With more reserved or shy patients he takes his time and isn't pushy with them, he'll gradually try to gain their trust for better sessions.”
