Mercenary's Call

Plot:

Muse A and Muse B are both mercenaries, although, they know nothing of each other despite their well-known names.

Both Muse A and Muse B are hired by the same employer to solve one problem;

In a cluster of islands known as the Shrouded Isles, there seems to be a bit of a problem. A death god known as Charoth is reigning what the villagers claim to be calamity over the various Isles. What may this chaos be? Well... no one can die. Yes, that's correct. No one has the capability to die on the islands of the Shrouded Isles.

Frankly, this wouldn't be a problem for the villagers if they wanted to live forever. But with Charoth reigning over, they seek help. Wisps are becoming demonic beings who fall under Charoth's control and kill the villagers only for the natives to return to life.

Furthermore, throughout the islands there are fairly large bells. If a person who does not hail from the Isles dies, they can simply ring the bell and return to their former living state. A handy trick if it's needed. But there are also mysterious lanterns that only one (perhaps two?) beings know what they are there for. Did I mention you are the only humans? Save for one man, an inventor, tucked off somewhere within the island's woods whom everyone deems insane.

Though it should be mentioned that the inhabitants of the Shrouded Isles are fairly... eccentric. They aren't people as one would assume, although a human is a guise they may hide behind. They are actually monsters! Scary? No, not at all. Just, surprising at first. Nothing more.

With the problems of death yearning villagers to death gods, bells, lanterns, and corrupt wisps, how will the two mercenaries sort through it all? Teamwork will most certainly be able needed.

{I know the plot is fairly short but there are a few things I will try to make occur within the story to spice it up some!}

Rules:

This roleplay will be semi-literate to literate. So, roughly a paragraph at least? Something along those lines, though I can be quite lenient.

Yes, I do have little plans throughout the roleplay and I will play multiple roles. (I won't play every role! It would be appreciated if you played as a villager or two or perhaps a few enemies to help even it all out!)

Your oc can be whatever you want! This is a fantasy/medieval roleplay after all!

Romance is aloud! Sometimes it helps keep the roleplay interesting. Naturally, the won't (or at least don't have to) fall in love as soon as they see each other. Heck, they could bicker with each other at first if you want!

Last of all, please don't make your oc too op! Hits must be taken every now and then. Though, generally this never seems to be too big of a problem.

Either way, pm me if you're interested in this roleplay plot! I'm dying to try it out!

This oddly sounds like something that my bf and I do along D&D campaigns. I can morph my OC to fit the timeline best I can! I'm interested, feel free to pm me if you think my oc could help create an interesting story! If not, I understand!
