John's Introduction Post

'Ey there, stranger! Might I take a few brief moments of your time to introduce myself to you?

Question 1:

What is your name? What nicknames or alias do you go by otherwise?

The name's John. Just John. It is not my real name, but if I was to disclose it I doubt anybody would be able to pronounce it. Some internet friends know me as Hilo/Sigmar, as the two main characters that I use in roleplay.

Question 2:

How old are you? When is your birthday?

I'm eighteen and my birthday is on the second of February

Question 3:

What time zone are you in? Where do you live? (Country/state is fine. Never be too specific!)

GMT+1, I hail from Slovenia, Europe (People tend to not know where that is and/or confuse it with a country with a very similar name - Slovakia)

Question 4:

What type of role player are you? What do you consider yourself to be? (Lit, Semi-lit, Still learning etc)

Depending on your definition, I can be either Lit or Semi-lit. No matter what, I will always try to write 5+ lines in a single reply. If I get to drive the plot the number is doubled and if the partner gives me more to work with the amount of lines only increases.

Question 5:

Do you prefer one-on-one role plays or groups? How do you prefer searching for a partner?

a)I will say that I prefer one-on-one plays more than group plays. Why? Because it's easier to coordinate the plot with one person. You can focus more on your own character and their development, driving them whichever direction you want and make them do whatever you want. Whereas in group roleplays you (usually) get a limit of actions that your character can do, since you're bound to the 'group-plot' and not your 'personal-plot'.

b)I like to make a post explaining a potential plot and just see whoever's interested. If I happen to stumble upon a partner-search post with a plot that intrigues me, I will most likely politely ask if I can take part with any of my own characters.

Question 6:

How often do you think you'll be online?

Depending on how many people/if any at all will like to roleplay with me. To take a raw guess seems flawed, but I will do anyway for the sake of answering. I believe that I will spend a minimum of 30 minutes a day and a maximum of 3 hours a day logged into this group (Sure there will be days where I won't be able to at all, if those days last I will, as the guidelines dictate, notify a staff member accordingly)

Is there anything else we should know? Interests, Hobbies, Likes etc?

I enjoy playing videogames and, obviously, roleplaying in my spare time.

What genres of plots/stories do you pursue?

I have not yet stumbled upon anything that I wouldn't enjoy. I can safely say that I've tried and liked modern fantasy, crime, medieval fantasy, medieval, science fiction and cyberpunk.

Eh to be fair, I've been avoiding superhero plots. I don't know why exactly. I suppose they're just not my type.
