At one point, long ago, two races lived side by side. The giants and humans lived on Earth, but it obviously stirred up many problems. A war broke out, lasting 100 years before the giants were banished by some extraterrestrial help from the stars to another planet. The planet was new, just starting out, it had the base to sustain life. So both races were now separated. Humans on Earth, and giants on a far away planet called Niaki. Over time, humans had forgotten the giants, putting them in myth. The giants knew of humans, it was the history of how they got to Niaki in the first place. Some giants were sour about humans, but most didnt have an opinion as they were the new generation decades after what had happened, not caring as much.
There is a secret though. Once every 100 years a portal opens, unbeknownst to most humans. It leads to the world of the giants. Behind a waterfall,deep in a forest in a state it appears.
Now, a human girl ventured behind it, not knowing it was something mystical and only being a goofy teenager looking for some fun, she ends up in the giant world, the portal closing once something es through, and now she is stuck there! How will she find her way back home?! Will romance bloom between the two species?

Giants are a bit more behind in civilization, having to have started on a new planet anew many many decades ago. Right now the humans would be in current tech time,2017, but giants are living in a somewhat medieval time like the 16th century. (Renaissance era)
Giants also look like humans, just bigger, they have a few different features but no furries,dragons,or mechs.
