Taking a break from this community

Hey guys! I just want you guys to know this just in case people have been wondering. So I have decided to take a break from this community and many other communities I am in on amino. A couple of things had kind of rubbed me the wrong way. As you guys must know by now, I am black and there is a black lives matter movement right now. Many communities on amino have said that they are deleting anything relating to it because it’s “too violent or not what people came here for” I completely understand that but it kind of hurt me that they were doing this because it it felt like they were shutting the black community out? And it wasn’t like they were doing this to all of the minority movements such as the lgbtq community. It kind of just made me sad that our voices couldn’t be heard. This is what’s going on in the world, and we deserve to be heard. So yes, I understand why a lot of communities are doing this but it just hurts me that they are. So with that being said, I’m taking a break from amino. You guys are all just such wonderful people. for the time being, I think it’s best for me to just leave. Until next time -Constance :heart:
