I am fairly new to penpalling ( about two to three months ). Before, I new the concept of snail mail but I didn't know how to go about with it. Only recently I discovered it through a couple of YouTube channels.

To me, making friends is a major thing. I love to learn about different people and the culture of the place they live in. Penpalling not only brings you to learn the good old way of sending letters but also lets you think out of the box and let's you push your creative limit.

Stationery isn't something that I get easily in my country. All of the stationery is limited and it's all mostly online shopping and I don't even have a card for myself which I can use to buy it. I really wish I can win this so that my penpals wouldn't feel too bad for my lack of extras or work. I really want to give my all to my penpals :heart:

I came across a couple of penpalling videos on YouTube and that got me to think about it and it made me get really interested in the whole idea of penpalling.

The first few videos that I saw and still take inspiration from are Keychup, Baekseuu and Sofa Trash.

I also love making friends cause I believe that it plays a key role in getting to know more about others + helps you understand yourself better too.
