I’ve been penpalling for about 1 and a half months now! I’ve really enjoyed every second of it! I’m pretty certain this is something that I’m going to continue to do for awhile! :)

for me, what makes penpalling important is that you’re able to connect with people who you usually wouldn’t have the opportunity to connect with. You get to know more about them and develop long term friendships. You can also learn about their culture and you kind of get the opportunity to see the world through their eyes. That’s pretty amazing in my opinion. I feel like almost anyone can text and call and stuff like that, which is cool, but once you write a letter and put actual words on paper and put a lot of effort into what you’re sending your new friend, it becomes a lot more personal. Penpalling is just an amazing concept to me.

I actually started off kpop journaling, and watching youtube videos about that! And then I noticed that a lot of the kpop journal s that I was subscribed to also had videos about kpop penpalling, so I started watching a lot of those, and the way that they described penpalling seemed so fun, so I really wanted to start penpalling!
