ɴᴏᴡ ɪɴ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴇss..

Sora yelled as his keyblade collided with Riku's as they pushed each other back. Riku then cast Dark Firaga at Sora, who blocked it with ease, but Riku ran through the flames, and knocked Sora to the ground as he grunted in pain.

"Had enough yet?" Riku taunted as a smirk formed on his face.

"Not even close!" Sora jumped up to his feet, and he cast Firaga at him. Riku rolled out of the way and he cast dark firaga at him. Sora hit two of them away, but he winced as the other three hit his chest. Sora growled as he ran at Riku at full speed as he jumped up, and got ready to attack him. Riku only smirked as he blocked the attack.

"You're losing your game, Sora." He pushed him, back, and tripped his feet and he grunted as he fell on his back, and he laid there for a moment before he sighed.

"C'mon, Riku! I'm not as strong as you are!" He complained. "Even with all the training we got at Master Yen Sid's, I still can't beat you!"

"Hey, these things take time, Sora." He said as he gestured his hand out to him. Sora accepted it as he helped him up to his feet. "Besides, I think out of the both of us, you've been doing more training than I have."

"Really?" Riku nodded his head and Sora laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his head. "I never really noticed."

"Well, you can be an air-head most of the time." Riku remarked as Sora let out a small "Hey!" In protest and that made Riku chuckle.

"Sora! Riku!" The two friends turned their attention to the docks, and they saw Kairi running towards them with what looked like a letter in her hand.

"What's up, Kairi?" Sora asked. Kairi took a moment to catch her breath, but she held the letter in front of him facing downward. Sora took it, and looked at it for a moment. But when he flipped it over...he gasped as his eyes widened seeing the familiar symbol on the front of it.

"No...way." Sora quickly opened the envelop and Riku was shocked seeing what the letter said. Sora looked at Kairi in disbelief, but she nodded her head and smiled saying that it was the truth.

"I-I'm..." Sora smiled as he wrapped both his arms around Riku and Kairi shoulders as they chuckled.

"I'm gonna be in Smash!"

Well, here it is! One of the very story projects I always wanted to do! After I finish Light In The Dark, I did want to take a small break from writing...but then another idea came to mind.

Me and my friends from our school's Gaming club are obsessed with Smash, more specifically, Smash Ultimate! We play it in my computer class when we're on break, and every Friday for the club meetings. We were then talking about the rumors about Sora coming into smash...and that was when the ideas sparked!

I wanted to make a new start, and try to make a crossover this time. I have made crossover stories before but that was when I was still in elementary school! I refuse to read those again!

Since I'm fully experienced with literature now, I'm gonna see what I can do with Smash! In the meantime, feel free to give me a few ideas in the comments, or even PM me them. I'll start on this project after I finish Light In The Dark, so keep that in mind.
