Memories left forgotten. (Told by Isa's point of view.)

(This fanfic was requested by Chocogirl. I hope you enjoy this. I haven't made a fanfic, besides my series for a long time.)

It starts out as a moment...until it fades away.

Darkness.

Insignificance.

Is this what it feels like to forget? To suffer the lost of a real friendship? Bit by bit, I'm losing my memories. Memories of who I was. My home...my best friend.

Why must this happen to me? Why did everything have to come to this? Why must it be me to suffer...?

Is this what death feels like? An empty abyss where there's no escape? Reincarnation to become a complete different person, with no memories of your past?

Everything I have done...is becoming a blur. Will I ever see the Light? What will happen to me? Am I...really dying? Is this my fate?

I could see nothing but darkness cloud my vision. I blinked to make sure I was conscious...it was hard to tell, because it felt like I became blind.

"I have been expecting you." I quickly turned around and I gasped as my eyes widened. He looked exactly like me. Only he was wearing a black cloak as he had golden eyes.

"...Who are you?" I glared as my hands clenched into fists.

"I am who you have become." He answered. His voice showing no emotion.

"What are you talking about?" I took a step back, but continued to glare at the man.

"You understand so little." He said. "The darkness has taken it's course on you. I am you. I am all you have left."

"W-What?" I backed away from the man as he started to walk towards me.

"You do not understand what has become of the world." He said. I was beginning to feel...fear. "No matter how many times you run, you're darkness always follows you. You cannot control the darkness. The darkness controls you."

"N-No...how-" I gasped as I suddenly ed a very important detail...or should I say, a very important someone.

"W-Where's Lea?!" I demanded. "What have you done to him?!"

"..." The man stayed silent as he stopped walking. I stopped as well. Seconds later, he finally spoke. "Axel...was a part of us."

"A-Axel...?"

"Until he has betrayed us." The man pointed at me. "He's fighting alongside Sora and the rest of his...acquaintances."

"Sora.." That name was familiar to me, but I am sure I have never met someone by that name.

"I am surprised you still have a memory of your...friend." The man didn't looked comfortable saying 'friend', but I decided not to ask about it.

I began to feel strange as I suddenly felt dizzy. When I looked at my hands, I gasped as I saw they were shrouded in darkness.

"You cannot fight the Darkness." The man walked over to me. "Your memories are fading...and you will never Lea...or Ventus."

"Ventus?" I gasped as I ed that memory...but it was slowly fading away.

"No...NO!" I screamed as I collapsed to my knees, and I held my head in pain. "I...I don't want to forget! I refuse to forget!"

"Don't bother." The man said. "No matter how hard you try to , your memories will succumb to darkness."

"Who are you!?" I demanded as the darkness was up to my chest.

"Why bother tell you when we will both forget?" He said as I started to become weaker and weaker. "However, since you are so curious..."

"Lea..." The darkness has covered my arms.

"Ventus..." My vision was starting to become blurry as my chest began to hurt.

"My name...is Saix." Saix. I may forget that name...but my heart will always .

Before I was lost in the darkness, I muttered one last word.

"Sora.."
