So this is not a ff this is more of lore and some ideas i hve for this au I have. I will probably update this ALOT as time goes but this makes it easier to understand what happens and the rules for it ^^

So how it all began it began sort of 20 or so give or take years after the first incident. Or when Shiro destroyed the slate. The goverment wasnt pleased at all since they wanted their super human soilders, so under the nose of Shiro and everyone else who was involved the made a fund and atarted to make experiments. Which lead to them making a slate which was man made not some ancient power.
As time went on they started to know more about this "new slate" that they created and decided that it was time to try it on their first test subject. Rats. But unlike the experiment Adolf weisman did this went very wrong as they could not control the power of this "slate" escaped, became unstable and created a black out through the whole country in the process. The goverment said it was a so called black out to the people which many did not believe but they didn't have anything else to blame it on. So life conrtinued.
After months of the incident people started to develope powers but after some days they would die. It was as if the power was searching for the correct host or it was many different powers. Til they found theur hosts. Some examples are Ryoma the god of fire(death?), Takara the god of water, Selena the god of time(wisdom?) And so on.
As for the kings or more gods noe as they are called they will have very unstable powers. But the more clansmen or believers they have the more stable their powers will be. Tho its no garentee, tho its the safest option. The gods powers are stronger then the kings in every way. And as normally. Yes strains do exsist. They come in different forms and powers. Some has to die and be recarnated some doesnt. I dont have that much to put in except from that the strains are stronger then vefire as such some can have power ups.
BUT there are also people in this world who has high weisman levels but doesnt have powers they are quite expensive on the black market. They can develope powers but under right circumstances.
The story if focused on the old crew from kproject trying to uncover the goverments secrect information about this whole thing while also working to find and help the different gods as their called now instead of kings. As the era of kings is over.
They will have help from one of them Haiden the god of earth (life?). She will be a sort of guide.
