In the span of an hour the world of Jujutsu has been flipped on its head and rattled to its core as some of the strongest representatives of the former era of Jujutsu were killed in a shocking turn of events during Katsuyori Kamo’s coronation. Hanzaemon Gojo and Taira Kamo were snuffed out of existence while Tokage, Kiyota and Katsuyori suffered fatal injuries, their current statuses are unknown.

The perpetrator was none other than Setsuna Kamo- or the man believed to be Setsuna. Ever since his mysterious resurgence as an incarnate outside the Faux Emperor Ouma’s wheel of reincarnated masters he has been freely roaming about without much impediment, nor questioning.

In this latest betrayal his sadistic plan unfolded without a hitch as all Death Paintings (except for Ikari) were used in one last torturous experiment on their eldest brother, the Captain and Vice captains of the elite Kamo sorcerer squad, Tachi, were also killed and the Kamo compound was annihilated in the struggle.

At the tail end of the fight, while the reinforcements of clan head Nagisa Zen’in, Riku Zen’in and Iron drove the brutal man into a corner Nitoku uncovered the deceiver’s facade, a memory that resurged from a weary old brain: Caishen Tarn. The Zealot was unmasked but at the same time his escape had been successful, the damage done, everything in tatters.

But what did this affair bring? Just havoc and confusion? No. A systematic blow to a rapidly reinforcing organization. Tarn needed time… but why?
