Sooooooo.... I know I said I'd do a DIY Tutorial for chokers and majority had voted 'Yes' for it BUT there were a few who genuinely disliked chokers or said they didn't look good on them I thought really hard about it, and I decided to repurpose this tutorial into how to make a general Jpop themed Accessory rather than sticking to anything specific.
I personally used this to make myself a ribbon style head band which I really had fun with, and I didn't want to do a specific group since there are sooooooooo many groups I'm in love with I didn't wanna pick so I just went with the term 'ICHIBAN' I dunno I thought it was cute :no_mouth: :no_mouth:

So this type of accessories can literally be turned into anything; chokers/head bands/bracelets/anklets. And I made sure it'll be super easy to make.
:bouquet: What You Will Need :bouquet:
• Some hot glue; if you don't have hot glue you can use a white candle.
• Tissue paper (white)
• Ribbon/shoelace/lace you can go with anything you think will look good. (Colors are up to you)
• gel pens, preferably ones that are very watery; or you can use paint if you prefer.
• Wax paper (or baking sheet) that paper used to put on baking tins so food doesn't stick to it.
:eight_pointed_black_star: How to Make :eight_pointed_black_star:
Alright first basically drip hot glue/wax onto your baking sheet, create a layer with the liquid, make sure its not too thick, the layer should be relatively flat. (There are tips at the bottom of this blog to help you along)
After it drys the peeled layer should look like this.

Next you can cut out the shape of your accessory pendant; HINT: if you're gonna be writing on the pendant draw what you're gonna do before cutting out your shape, a little like this; USE SCISSORS :scissors: NOT A KNIFE :no_good: :hocho: FOR GLUE!

you don't have to be overly decorative just yet though.
Next; this step is required only if you want to sew the shape onto your Ribbon/lace/etc.
Heat a needle or pin and put two holes on both sides of your pendant. The holes should be big enough for you to sew a needle and thread through it.
Alright now here's the last few steps.
Dampen your tissue paper and cover your pendant with it, do this twice. (Its a bit like paper mache)
Make sure to tear off the excess on the bottom so the holes you previously made will still be open; don't worry about the other opening on top, you can keep those covered for now.
For Gel Pen s
Alright now tear another peice of DRY tissue it doesn't have to be a big peice. Now using your watery gel pens, colour the tissue just scribble on it and be as messy as you want; now dip that peice of tissue in water :droplet: .
Ball it up and squeeze drops of colour onto your damp tissue covered pendant. You can also drip the liquid onto your wax paper, soak it up with a clean tissue and then cover your pendant with it; be very careful when you're smoothing it down!
For Paint s.
Mix only a SMALL drop in water just enough to change the water's color then use your tissue and dip it in the water.
Ball it up and squeeze drops of colour onto your damp tissue covered pendant. You can also drip the liquid onto your wax paper, soak it up with a clean tissue and then cover your pendant with it; be very careful when you're smoothing it down!
IMPORTANT : I haven't tried this method but you can attempt this with liquid food coloring; but make sure the coloring isn't too strong; unless you want the bold solid color look; if you want to tone down the food coloring mix it with water like you do with the paint :art: and copy the above process with your tissues.
Repeat the layering process and cover one tissue over another; how many layers of tissue you decide to use is up to you, same with colours.
Now that you're done layering let it dry just SLIGHTLY now that its about damp; I said to leave the bottom half uncovered; now stick a pin :pushpin: through the bottom to open the other side. (This is still only if you want to sew on the pendant)
Now that you're done let it dry slightly;this may take a while; at least give it 20 minutes.

It'll look a little like this when it's done.
Now this step is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but its kinda optional too.
Use clear nail polish to soldify your pendant further; top coat nail polish can be easily found anywhere and it'll give your pendant a shiny effect, paint both sides so the tissue on the bottom of your pendant will stick better.

Now here's where you can get creative and decorate the pendant; I'm not gonna tell you how to decorate because that should be your choice. I'll just suggest some Jpop phrases below; use whatever you want to decorate, glitter, sharpies, markers depends on your creativity.
:speech_balloon: Suggested Jpop Words! :speech_balloon:
•Kawaii
•Jpop
•Ichiban
•Name Of Favorite Group
•Name of Ichiban
•Jpop group's Fandom Name
•Draw your group's logo
That's off the top of my head
Now that you've finished decorating Sew or glue your pendant to your Ribbon/shoelace etc.

You can even customize your Ribbon and stuff if you feel like it.
Now see how it looks wherever you want to wear it, you can sew a button or clasp if you prefer not to tie on accessories.
Lolzs and that's basically it; here are a few tips to help you out.
Tips!
• When making your glue/wax layer to prevent it from becoming too lumpy dip your finger in cold water and press down to flatten the liquid DON'T BURN YOURSELF!
• Before cutting out your shape make sure to leave space to poke holes if your sewing the pendant, this way you're design won't get messed up, that's why I said to roughly sketch out your design before cutting it out.
• If you cut the Ribbon/shoelace etc. Use your clear nail polish on the edges to prevent fraying. (Or coloured nail polish :nail_care: if you want)
• Use one tissue per color for example first drip pink liquid on one layer then on the next use blue, getting color ratios right can be difficult but just try experimenting.
• You can use glitter gel pens or sprinkle some glitter into your water to five your pendant a sparkly effect. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SPRINKLE TOO MUCH!
• When you're done decorating your pendant use another coat of nail polish to make the design more permanent.
• When mixing water with paint or food coloring don't use an extremely shallow bowl or cup, using a plate should work just fine.
~Finished~
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this tutorial and I hope some of y'all will try this at home it doesn't really take very long so see if you wanna give it a go thanks for reading!
Oh and also if you have the equipment or just want to do this, try making a DIY video I would love to see more content made for Jpop fans, lolzs I don't need you to credit me though since this is for you guys to have fun with! Byeeeeeee!
