"𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 -𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿.-" is the debut Japanese single by IVE. It was released on October 19, 2022 with "Eleven -Japanese ver.-" serving as the single's title track.
"Eleven -Japanese ver.-" was first performed at Fuji TV's Virtual Adventure Island 2022 on August 11, 2022. This song, along with its music video, was pre-released on September 19.
The physical single is available in four versions: I (Limited Type A), V (Limited Type B), E (Regular Edition), and DIVE Japan Edition.
𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝
On August 10, 2022, it was announced via IVE's official Japanese website that they will make their Japanese debut sometime in fall 2022. Nearly a month later, on September 8, a special website linked via IVE's official Japanese website shared the debut's work, release date, and format.
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
On October 24, Billboard Japan announced that the single had sold 88,312 copies in its first week. Later, on November 10, the single was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of Japan (RIAJ) for selling over 100,000 copies.
