Colourfull writing +Tutorial

So a few days ago I made a pool asking people what they wanted to see here and "Weki Meki in fancy writing" won :tada:

So that's what I'm gonna be making :smile: I decided to do a tutorial for it as well because this is a tecniqe that is really fun and easy to use so you can make your own little Weki Meki pictures :relaxed:

The blog is gonna be in two sections. One with the results and one with te tutorial.

Theese are scans of what I made.

I made two different ones. The first one is Weki Meki's normal logo but in rainbow colours.

The second one is a bit weirder... but it's okay because "Let's get crazy" right? :joy:

This one is Weki Meki written in runes form the iron age. Why did I make that? Idk...they're pretty I guess :wink:

For this I used colours fading from pink to pruple... again bacause I think that's pretty :sweat_smile:

I'm gonna be showing this with the rainbow coloured one.

The first thing I did was to print out the logo so it would fit on a piece of A5 paper. Then I taped it to a piece of gray A5 cardboard (it doesn't need to be gray that was just what I had).

Then I took an exacto knife and cut it out, making the gray cardboard into a stencil. Make sure to save those little pieces from the e when you cut it out as they are also part of the stencil.

I taped the stencil to a piece of white A5 cardboard. And taped the little pieces from the e on with duble sided tape.

Then I coloured it in using coloured pencils, going back and forth between the colours to get a rainbow gradient.

Remove the stencil and you will have the coloured writing.

Lastly I just took a black fineliner and outlined it. And that's it, then it's done :tada:
