Superman, aka Clark Joseph Kent, aka Kal-El is one of the most recognizable superheroes known in the world. He is often called/nicknamed the Man of Steel, the Last Son of Krypton, and The Man of Tomorrow. He has fought alongside Batman, Supergirl, Krypto the Superdog, Wonder Woman, Superwoman, and other characters.

He debuted in Action Comics #1 in June 1938 and was created by Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegel.

Superman was born on February 29th on the planet of Krypton. He was soon rushed off the planet because Krypton was coming to an end. (depending on the origin, it was either because it exploded, or it was taken over by Braniac)

He landed in a town called Smallville, Kansas where he was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. When he was young he began to display his superpowers, and when he grew up he used these powers as a force for good, and became the superhero Superman. When he grew up he took the name Clark Kent and moved to Metropolis to become a journalist for the Daily Planet. And he seen met his love interest, Lois Lane, but also met his archenemy, Lex Luthor.

Superman has appeared in many forms of media from Comic Books, such as DC Rebirth, New 52, or Infinite Crisis, to Movies such as Batman VS Superman, and the Justice League Movies. He has also appeared in Video Games such as Injustice, where he is turns on his fellow Superheroes after Lois Lane's death and turns into a villain, and the LEGO Games, and TV Shows such as Supergirl, the Justice League cartoon, and the Justice League Unlimited cartoon.

In the movies he is played by Henry Cavil, and in Injustice he is voiced by George Newbern, who also voiced Superman in the Justice League TV Show.
