Layla is cocky, brilliant, self centered and a workaholic. She believes she can do anything on her own without anyone’s help. She is a genius with a IQ waaaay above average. She focus’s on herself a lot most of the time ignoring other people unless it’s a life or death matter. And she forgets to sleep, eat, hydrate and shower often because she’s working on a new project. However when people need help she is there without hesitation.

Layla was born with a rare injection in her body. Her body was naturally prone to illness and very frail. However even at a young age her natural genius was visible. She graduated from the best college in the world when she was 13 with her masters degrees in Biotechnology, Engineering and Computer science. She used what she learned to create a device to cure her illness there was just one problem. She could build the device but she didn’t have the means to power it. With no power source she was doomed. Until one day someone came to her with a proposition. them and their group as a engineer and they will provide a power source for her device and in turn save her life. She took the deal with no hesitation and with one surgery her self sustaining life vitality device was placed in her body. It rests in her chests keeping her body flowing and her muscles and bones strong and prevents infection. She was finally free and able to move and live like a normal person. But she forgot to read the “fine print” of her “contract” as an engineer she was given a lab where she worked alone they gave her random projects where at the surface seemed harmless but all together three were parts to build a weapon that could destroy the world. She finished halfway before she pieces together what they were making her do. When she confronted her “boss” they stated that this was what she signed up for. Her life for her help. When she tried to walk out she became a prisoner instead of an employee. She was forced to almost finish the weapon until she found a way to escape. She went even further modifying her body to great extents with technology. She implanted a chip in her mind that enabled her to connect and “speak” with technology. She added nerve wiring to her limbs to give her more access so she could access a computer by touching it or snap her fingers and turn the lights out. She could even go as far as to control the wiring in the machines themselves. All technology became her weapon. She used these abilities she gave herself to escape and destroy her work and the organization that held her captive. After finally being free she set out to make the world a better place. She works on her own making devices that provide clean energy and water efficiently. She creates devices that can help farmers get their jobs done in half the time. She even invented a new treatment for paralysis victims. She is claimed to be a hero however she lacks social skills having been isolated most of her life. So she doesn’t often make friends and is often the target of kidnappings and ransoms due to her “fame” and “fortune”. But she makes the best of it helping where she can.
