Anhinga wasn't exactly your natural born show horse, but boy oh boy did she make up for it with elegance, fine gaits and a one out of a million fine leopard coat, of course. That's not everything as important about a horse, but in Jake's eyes, this perfect mare almost seemed to sparkle.

Arriving at the show wasn't any lack luster in his eyes either! Even though they hadn't even started, something about the fresh dew in the air and the anticipation of a show made both rider and Anhinga brim with confidence, with a wholesome brush down and a quick preparation of tack and riding gear, the two would prepare there luck at the course ahead of them.

Great stride and confidence however didn't seem to follow them at the lineup, a jittering ear and a hesitant gaze Jake could tell PRETTY fast, Anhinga had grown more than camera shy when flashes upon flashes seemed to startle the mare off her rocker, by the time the race had begun, she was already storming the track, and Jake? Well, Jake had ed ragdoll mode, being the only note worthy description of the way his feet slipped from the stirrups and had to hold on for dear life, after a bit, he was able to pull himself over the striding mares shoulders.
