♤ :spades: Hey, goat here! Decided to in on octoberton. The drawing took way longer than I expected, around 2 hours to complete, and the writing took atleast 1 hour. So 3 hours in total... help. :spades: ♤

Yeah... goat didn't have as good of a time as it thought it would. But hey, they're both fine ^^

:spades: ♤The day was long and calm, competitions going on at the stables and all that usual stuff. Goat wasn't too interested in the other events, although having participated in the pageant just for fun with Minos dressed up as Minos Prime mostly just by body paint and some hair pieces.

The event that goat couldn't wait for was the corn maze and as the sky went dark it began, riders with their tukas entering and getting lost in the many ages as some screams let out showing there were some scare actors in there, or just people got spooked by the many scarecrows within the twisting trails. Goat waited beside the maze, giving Minos some treats and water. It knew that going in now would be fun but lost most of the fun of feeling alone in the maze, so it counted the people entering and leaving. 1 goes in, 1 goes out. The two sat and waited for a while. 3 go in, 6 go out. Just sitting and counting chatting to a few people ing by before people stopped entering and goat took their chance.

Not everyone was out yet, however it was more alone than before. From the start, Minos was uneasy about this new environment, snorting and partially sidestepping not wanting to go forwards further into the abyss that was the corn maze.

“Oh c’mon bud, nothing in here’s actually going to hurt you.” Valentine cooed to the stallion, gently nudging him along, patting his neck. With a slight whinny minos trod on forwards.

Turn after turn after turn the two took got them deeper into the maze. The sky got darker as they went and goat itself started to feel a bit uneasy. Did goat jump in way over its head? Should it’ve gone in with other people first? All of this was now longer any use to think of now as both were already far into the belly of the beast. Walking through goat looked around, paranoia now extremely high. Somehow it was as if minos could feel goat getting more paranoid with each second, momentarily looking back at his rider every now and again with a small nicker.

The minutes ticked by as goat and minos continued trying to find the exit in this seemingly never-ending labyrinth, all the more time spent there the closer to a panic attack goat was with the strangling halls of maize and leaves.

Taking a deep breath goat thought to itself trying to figure out the best solution before hearing minos letting out a neigh, and in response other tuka’s neighed. Turning its head goat listened to where the responses were coming from, managing to orient itself.

“..alright, i-i think we're going the right way.. We can do this.” goat stated, minos let out a small snort in response.

Continuing on, footsteps came from behind them. Goat, who was already panicking, immediately thought the worst, urging minos into a trot and then a canter to get away from what was behind them. Turning left, turning right, twists and turns at high speeds before seeing light.

The exit.

Barrelling out the maze minos came to a stop so as to not bang into anyone as delta ran over seeing goat in a panic as another rider exited the maze looking a little confused.♤ :spades:
