Personality
Clockwork can be a pretty aggressive person at times, who doesn’t think before he acts. But otherwise, he’s pretty chill (unless you’ve done something to piss him off in the past — when he holds grudges he holds them HARD).
Despite his hostile nature peeking out at times, it’s rare he’s genuinely offended or mad — just annoyed. It’s not difficult to irritate him, but he doesn’t get angry as easily. If he says anything that seems a bit too harsh though — it’s an eighty percent chance he doesn’t mean it.
In any case, if he realizes he’s hurt another person with his words, he’s probably going to mentally beat himself up over it before manning up and apologizing to them. Because despite how uncaring and distant he may seem at times, he doesn’t want to hurt anyone — not if they’ve done nothing wrong to him.
Clockwork is overall also very impatient, and must always be moving without a moment of rest. It’s not that he doesn’t want rest, it’s just that his mind has been fixed onto a constant state of work due to the hasty nature of his previous job, where he feels like he’s going to suffocate to death if he stops just for a brief second (hence his name “Clockwork”).
If he ever finds that he has no more work to do, he distracts himself by doing other activities he’d usually hate like taking a walk outside in hopes of coming across a survivor looking for help, or such.

Abilities
Along with his diving equipment, he carries a harpoon on his back, which is his main ability.
This harpoon is usually used in two cases — to pull someone far away from danger, or to pull that danger directly to himself. Throwing the harpoon in someone’s near direction, that survivor has a few seconds to grab onto the harpoon before Clockwork hauls them towards his position with great strength, pulling them to safety.
Then there is the aggressive approach, where he’ll throw the harpoon directly through a killer, and pull them towards HIM. The killer is momentarily stunned after they’ve been pulled in.
Due to his equipment weighing him down, he has a slower run speed than other survivors. Overall, he can act as both a and sentinel, depending on the circumstances and on his mood (if he’s extra grumpy that day, he’s probably going to choose the latter).

Specialties
Unsurprisingly, he used to be a parkour master. If he had to say so himself, he’d say he was the best one out of his team back when he was still considered a rescue and recovery diver. He was always able to get out of dangerous situations unscathed, and never left behind any escapees. Fitting to his competitive streak, Clockwork never failed a rescue mission — not once (at least, not until the Blue Moon mission).
Otherwise, he’s also good at cooking, although he prefers baking more. Sometimes, when he has nothing to do again, he likes to gather up ingredients (that’s long since expired) from looting and bake dessert (he’s unable to taste anything anymore, so it’s really all just to keep his sanity intact).

some questions about him:
> why does Taph and Clockwork not get along well?
After the demise of Clockwork’s best friend, he swore to keep every one of their belongings and possessions intact as a way to them — including their house. However, since they’re gone now, Taph was ordered to destroy the building.
Clockwork, who found out about the demolition too late, was, unsurprisingly, furious. He’s still mad at Taph about that. They don’t get along in general, due to their clashing ideologies (Clockwork distrusting the government and s, while Taph is a die-hard fanboy of them).
> has he ever accidentally hurt someone with his harpoon?
Yes. Only once, when he was trying to save a random stranger from a corrupted killer. Amidst the chaos, he panicked and threw his weapon directly into the fellow survivor. He was able to get both of them away from the scene in time, but the moment he finally stopped to check on the person he rescued, he realized he’d killed them.
It’s why he has gloves on all the time, and refuses to take them off — he doesn’t want to see the image of the blood on his palms again. Safe to say, he’s still disgusted with himself for such a clumsy mistake. Ever since, he’s never missed a shot (by that, I mean he hasn’t accidentally stabbed anyone with his harpoon — unless it’s someone he deliberately wants dead).
> does he have a human head or is his diving helmet-thingy his head?
He does — did — have a “human” head, and a face. But that was all before disaster struck. After the incidents in his life, he never took his helmet off, ashamed by the sight of his own face. As you can see by his appearance, he’s been a bit affected by the corruption (although that’s only appearance-wise, as it never got to his actual “code”).
The same thing happened to his head, where his helmet just automatically fused with his head, so now he’s permanently stuck with it.
> does he like anyone?
Romantically, platonically? Either way, no. He could, possibly in the future, but he finds it hard to open up to anyone at all ever since the death of his old friend. But for those he genuinely likes—
He’s sorry for them.
> what does he think of kids?
Annoying. They’re fucking annoying to him (despite that, watch him go through hell trying to save one in danger).
> is he single
