It has come to my attention that there has been a LOT of use of AI art in our community. For mainly profiles from what I've seen. So I brought up with the rest of the team, and we have come up with a consensus. I am going to explain the rules and explain the way we will be allowing the use of AI art.
First off, and most obviously.. Don't be playing off the AI art like it's your own. It's not. It's made by a machine that generates art based on description by ripping and grafting art from the internet. Specify it was made by AI. In your bio if it's on your profile. Or in posts if you are posting it. Failure to do so will get the post taken down or profile hidden. Until it is fixed.
Second off. The use of AI art in artist events is STRICTLY forbidden. The entire point of art events is for actual artists to compete with one another and work hard to win. AI ruins that for everyone, and if we see the use of AI art in an event. You'll be banned. Plain and Simple.
Third. You are not allowed to open AI art commissions. Of any kind. You can make AI art and specify it is AI art for fanart, but you are under no circumstances allowed to open up commissions. Whether it be for AC or actual money. Doing so will get you warned, then striked, then banned on the third offense. This rule does change from the three strike out punishment to an instant ban if you open AI art commissions without specifying it is AI art. Don't be an idiot.
Fourth. The last thing we'll cover is the credit of the art itself. If someone recognizes one of the many styles the AI art uses. Please do tell the OP (Original Poster) who that style belongs to. And OP, if you get told the specifics of who one of the styles used belong to, please give credit.
Finally. Do not take art, trace over it, and call it your own. It's sickening to see, and you will get banned. No if ands or buts.
This is all for now, really. With that being said, I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I will see you all around. Bye-bye lovelies.

They don't reward you money if you come up to fight with ai and ai arts or ai music. Eventually ai will replace everything and take over so just let it go with the flow, a few thousand people on some random app without any power on big companies and governments can't do anything so better not be edgy about it

Well it's a problem of developing technology just like how ai replaced programmers, computer engineers, electric engineers, teachers, counsellors and many other jobs. Art, craft and singing are easies targets. One edit of an extremely amateur singer can make them look like the best, that's the current era. Adopt and overcome.
AI art legally belongs to the person who generated it. That's the actual law and the law is above regulations here. So the creator has full rights on the image.

Yes you didn't say it's theft, but I think it was something else you said with a more or less similar demeanor. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Well if someone claims a piece of AI art to be theirs, how to prove it and as AI art has no copyright protection, how to enforce it?
And again, it's more than typing in words. It takes a lot of time, often longer than drawing something line by line. And the results are far from perfect. You need to do lots of tweaking and adjusting, you need to understand what which setting does and how to use them right.
And I know all that for sure, because I am an AI art creator. I know the difficulties, I know how people react to it and about any and all mean comments towards it. That's why I'm so ionate about it. That's why I know exactly that it's not just, type in a few words and boom, art. That's simply not how it works and most people don't get that and ridicule me, because they literally have no idea how any of it works. How weights work, what LoRAs are and small things like word order and what an impact that has.

I mean, hey, if you're an AI artist, then that's good on you. Do what you like and don't let comments ruin it for ya. This is yet again just put here as a way to explain limitations that would clash with non ai artist.

I fully understand that any why that rule was worked out by staff. But it might also work to let people decide on their own? That any AI art image has to be labeled as such, while traditional and digital artists also label the medium they used to make their art. Then, people can avoid AI art if they dislike it for whatever reason.
That might heal things in the scene because, the current flair is, you're an art killer if you even just look at AI art. Just as input, it might be valuable to discuss it, maybe.
And thank you for your kind words. I won't give up and I'll keep going, even with just 18 people checking out my channel. I mostly make it for myself because I enjoy it - I do have a donation link because, it's easy for people to show me they like what I do.
I'm glad we exchanged. And, I think we both heard a few valuable things here. I'll be happy to see you stay in your position, we s need to secure good leaders like you. Up for a chat despite the rule is in place, that's something I've not seen before.
