Behold, the premise for a Science Fiction/Science Fantasy concept!

The Premise

Humanity has expanded into the stars. Since the New Age began in the 25th Century, they spread their influence throughout the stars, finding no signs of intelligent life and realising that they were truly alone.

Or so they thought.

After many tedious years of civil war, in the 35th Century, mankind began afresh, announcing “The New Founding”. Humanity was consolidated back into a single, powerful force, and the years of civil war came to an abrupt end. Remnants continued their pursuits, but for the most part mankind became one again.

In 1st Century Age of Man, a mysterious trend was noticed within the skies of the Caruthel Sector. The stars began to glow a peculiar purple-blue-green hue, and wanting to investigate, mankind sent patrols to report on their discovery.

They were never heard from again.

Embracing this silence as a threat, mankind mobilised the Divine Forces, the military of humanity, and braced for an impending attack.

In the year 097 AoM (Age of Man), it came.

Beings of unknown unholiness sprang forth from the emptiness of space, bringing unprecedented chaos and suffering unto the citizens of the Creed. Slowly, but surely, their influence spread, and they became known as The Great Darkness.

With their expansion, stars became corrupted, mirroring that strange colour humanity had pondered at in earlier years.

Humanity was now at war with an enemy other than themselves.

So, that’s basically what I got at the moment. I’m looking for people to help me expand on it, better it, and to have a good time making this with. A worldbuilding project if you will.

I’m not strict on participation, meaning if you have a life by all means that understandably takes priority, but I just thought this’d be a fun quarantine project.
