• What is the Debate Club about? •

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Originally founded by Maria back in October

of 2019, HPA Debate Club is a weekly event

happening exactly here, in our community,

every Monday. Each Monday we present a

topic to the community, usually suggested

by our (if you have an idea YOU

can suggest it right here, and it might end

up being one of our debate topics),

and we give a week to come up

with a post on that topic.

There are two sides, “for” and “against”.

”For” usually agrees with the topic idea, while

”against” shuts it off (can be different, you

will usually get an explanation in the debate

post). There is a possibility that you can

choose both for and against, but in that case

you cannot win any of our prizes (will explain

later, keep reading). Just like the winners of

THIS debate will be chosen in the next one,

I will be choosing winners of the previous

debate right here.

There are no applications forms or anything

of that sort, anyone who’s a member of our

community is allowed to participate in the

Debate Club whenever they’d like to. All you

have to do to apply is post your entry as a

BLOG within the week the topic has been

presented. You can post your entry late, but

you cannot win any prizes that way.
