Moony here again to bring to you a blog about the Prewett's. The Prewett family contains the Weasley family’s mother (Molly) and her twin brothers Fabian and Gideon who Fred and George are named after. This family is interesting because they were involved in the first wizarding war despite being pure bloods and being a part of the sacred twenty-eight.

The Prewett family was related to the Black and Macmillan families. Some of the of the Prewett family were known as blood traitors for being in the Order of The Phoenix. However, not all were blood traitors. Lucretia Black was not disowned for marrying Ignatius Prewett. Prewetts were more accepted in the pureblood circle than other pureblood families.

There isn't much information about Molly's mother, but her father Mr. Prewett was Ignatius’s brother. Mr. Prewett also may have ed on to Ron his chess set. This makes me wonder if Molly and her brothers had competitive chess tournaments with their dad when they were kids.

Molly’s brothers Fabian and Gideon were murdered by five death eaters for being a part of the Order of the Phoenix. They were known by Alastor Moody to have “fought like heroes” and fought so hard that it took multiple death eaters to kill them.

Molly ended up naming her twin boys Fred and George after her brothers which proved how much her brothers meant to her. For Harry's seventeenth birthday, she gave him Fabian's golden watch because Harry was of age which showed how much Harry meant to her.

There isn't a lot of information about Molly's family in Harry Potter. But throughout the series it showed how much the family she was raised in and the family that she started meant to her. With her family's blood traitor status, her brothers being known as heroes, and her marrying a muggle lover (Arthur Weasley) to born children who accept people of all kinds shows that the Prewetts maybe except for Ignatius was a pretty good family.

description: So I started by playing around with the picture formation before deciding to put the images diagonal, I then played around with different ideas until I landed on the diamonds. After adding that I chose to add a border just to make it pop more. Lastly, I decided it needed to look older since the family is older so I put on the final filter on the images and decided it looked cool!

process: I first went on Pinterest and found an image that I felt represented Molly’s strong and powerful personality. Then I applied a circle border and added a noise filter. After this, I applied the PSD to the images and I added a filter layer on top afterwards. It’s not a perfect match but I’m quite satisfied with the result overall.

process: I went to Pinterest to find some images for Gideon and as we don’t see him in the movies, I decided to get a fan cast. So then I applied a circle border and then the PSD later on. I did the same with the background image and I wanted it to present an autumnal look. Again, it’s not a perfect match but I’m satisfied with the result.
