𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙥𝙖! This is Elias,

back to you with a blog for my homework

assignment, creating a magical school. Now, I

simply love creating art curriculums, art in

general is my literal baby, snobbish

classists and magic are my two favourite

things thanks to Nico. Therefore, in some

inspired manner of CEA, the school in the

book, TMWYB, which is still unavailable to

the public, mind you, I decided to create a

Wizarding Institutional university education.

Because, what DO students do after graduating

Hogwarts?

I am an art student myself, heck I study at a

university and got the art Wing entirely to

myself. Well, not really, but we like to

believe between 2pm and 3pm I am pretty much

all set in the corridors. So, since I am

acquainted with what a student curriculum

would look like for me, I will create one for

a magical art student!

This blog is entirely self-made, I just wrote

down my ideas and used the knowledge of

things that I already knew. The Wizarding

Academy of Dramatic Arts is a wizarding

school that provides students education on

performance and theatrical performance. But,

nothing for the visual Arts! So, let me

represent to you, The Institute of Magical

Arts, also known as TMA!

Uniform:

There is school merch but students do not have

to wear a uniform, there are however dress

codes for classes and you are required to

abide by those rules.

Acceptance Criteria:

You are required to have followed an elective

in Music, Drama, Muggle Art, Art, Muggle

Music. Having participated in

extracurriculars such as Drama Club, Art

Club, Frog Choir is highly encouraged.

Without having had an elective in those

Artistic subjects, you will have to audition

for a spot in the first year of TMA. Buying

your way into TMA does not work- real

wizarding art critics will judge your work

and everyone is measured on an equal basis.

TMA has a fee of ittance and it is a 1000

galleons starting. You ofcourse can get

from the ministry or your wizarding

government by asking for a scholarship- this

is outside of TMA’s reach, where students who

wish to study at TMA, but simply cannot

afford the expenses, will have to ask for

from the Ministry of Magic or their

appointed government. Once received their

monthly/yearly fee they will be able to

attend TMA if all paperwork is succeeded

before the start of the 1st term. If not, you

cannot start the 1st term at TMA. TMA

requires all students to have talent,

aspiring ambition to succeed in improving

their talents and to want to deepen their

knowledge of the magical arts. In your

audition you’re required to show you know how

to perform Art in the wizarding appropriate

levels, the W.A.L.'s, which are by definition

guidelines the critics will measure the Art

Auditions by. W.A.L.’s are for both visual

artists, as performance artists, whereas

magical theatre, music and singing would have

the same requirements they need to meet

through the W.A.L.’s.

TMA gives classes on all appropriate wizarding

art levels, however the school is primarily

focused on Art, there is however, a music

department, a theatre department and opera

department. The school divides the Art forms

into visual artists and performance artists,

making it very clear to which side of the

school you belong to. Students of TMA are

provided with school materials and art tools

at the institute, everything that they shall

need will be provided by the school and

therefore are to be loaned. Any school

property is dealt with care and perfect

propriety as exemplary to the school’s image.

There are naturally a few stores, for example

an art supply store, stationary store,

wizarding equipment store and the theatre

dressing den. In these stores you can loan,

buy and try on products, all of these

products are sold to the students with a

discount, considering they are TMA students.

All work you do in classes is reviewed,

making TMA the first interactive examination

institute there is in Great Britain. It goes

simply, the work you do in classes is seen as

50% of your examination grades. Your

attendance and behaviour are graded too,

making that a 10% of your final grade. The

end of the term exams, which at TMA are

either the E.W.A.E.’s, the Exemplary

Wizarding Art Exams, or O.P.W.P’s, aka, the

Outstanding Practical Wizarding Performance.

The end of the term exams count for 40% of

your grade, which is a large quatian of your

end results, which will be tested at the end

of each school year. At TMA you will have to

perform at least 4 E.W.A.E’s or O.P.W.P’s

depending on which department you’re

studying, visual or performance, in order to

graduate. After the final year in year 4, you

are left with an option to study AWA, aka,

Advanced Wizarding Arts. This is a 2 year

program where you will learn and study to

master the art that you’re majoring in.

Sometimes wizards and witches directly study

AWA, for they have shown such exemplary work

that they’re itted directly to the

Advanced Art classes.

Classes that Visual TMA students

would follow would be:

Methodology

In Methodology, Visual

Art Students get to learn about spells and

different types of mediums wizards work in,

such as Volcanic paintings, Invisible ink,

Moving Portraits, Lively Rock Sculptures or

how to carve out magical supplements such as

dragon leather. This class teaches all the

groundwork information any wizarding artist

would need, acquire or any guidelines

students need to use when dealing with said

mediums.

BOAS- Body of Artistic Skills

In the Body of

Artistic Skills, students are taught to

deepen their practical skills, with Art. Aka,

different uses of mediums, learn to master a

medium and get really good at their technique

and how to use one of the wizarding tools

that wizarding artists use on a regular

basis.

Fine Art

In fine Art, we practice different

styles of painting that TMA considers to be

the W.A.L.’s standards. During Fine Art, you

are challenged to perform different styles of

paintings, portraits, landscapes,

still-life’s, moving paintings and really

perfect your technique onto Fine Art. This is

a mastery class solely focused on painting.

Ceramic Charms

In Ceramic Charms, you are

dealing with what wizards call moving clay,

volcanic dirt or muddy magic. In Ceramic

Charms, you deal with magical clay tools,

magical sculpting, where moving statues and

still-life statues alike are created in this

very classroom. Here you will get taught all

there is to know about sculpting, the

different materials you can use with

sculpting and how to charm your sculpture.

Magical Art History

In Magical Art History,

you get taught the history of the Wizarding

World’s famous artists, different art

directions, clubs, architecture, facts and

fables about wizarding art in general. Here

you will learn the theoretical scoops about

the history of your predecessors and will

learn about forms of different magical art

uses that died out for example.

Muggle Art

In muggle art class, we focus on

the styles of art that muggles practice. Such

as acrylic paints, watercolours, digital art

and sketching models. In this class you can

expect a lot of horony guest-professors who

shall teach you about different styles of

muggle art and mediums, tools and techniques

of the muggle world.

MAH- Muggle Art History

In MAH, you experience

the fine history of muggle artists,

architecture and more depth to the other

world’s artistic body of artists,

predecessors and famous painters, groups of

art styles, different influencers and the

political influences that art had on muggle

art. This class is also a theoretical class

with a lot of horony guest-professors.

Practical Wizarding Education

In PWE, you are

required to follow a ed Magical

Artist and learn from their work. This is a

practical subject where you are free to go

off school grounds to work as an intern at

one of the school’s appointed Artists, there

you will attend and learn in the actual

practice of a Magical Artist. Your school’s

Head of House will be noting your behaviour,

progress and keep in with your

appointed Magical Artist, to talk about your

actions in helping them, your knowledge in

the actual field and your performance during

live-action hands on wizarding art.

Students at TMA are not prohibited to leave

campus, they are allowed to walk off campus,

head into town, residentials, apartments or

stay in close proximity to the school. Every

student’s wand is being tracked by the TMA so

they will get to which students left

for the weekend, evening or which student is

not on campus. TMA does this to assure the

safety of their students, should any occasion

arise that they would need to search for

their students, they would know immediately

where they’d be. TMA does this because wand’s

cannot be tracked after a student is 17,

which is the required ittance age,

therefore TMA has taken in consideration some

rules about wand registration and any new

student is required to their wand at

the registration office. All staff

are dealt with exceeding respect, this goes

both ways, all of our students are treated

with equal respect. Staff-student relations

are strictly prohibited. If any school

supplies or art supplies get broken you’re

expected to pay for them. Parents, spouses or

s/o’s are not allowed to stay on campus

overnight or move in into residentials

without an official permission slip. This

permission would be rare- in case of medical

conditions or any other special reasons, the

heistress will allow such a request.

Attendance is mandatory, missing class comes

with repercussions decided by the authority

of the heistress or appointed professors.

Residential living is included in the

attendance fee of TMA- where boys/girls are

living in separate dormitories. Student

Houses at TMA are divided into Visionaries,

Performing and Classicals. Each house is

created onto your respective

needs/personality and the ive head of

house, student board that would fit your

character best. All representative TMA

residential houses are decorated to suit that

houses’ personality best to create a

comforting and soothing environment for our

students. Every dorm consists of 3 TMA

students, typically one of every different

category at TMA, so you might as well be

sleeping in a dormitory with an opera singer

and one theatre major.

That is it, I hope you liked this blog about

The Institute of Magical Arts, which I was

inspired by from the Magical School of

Dramatic Arts, but made it Art in general and

not just Dramatical Arts. This was my

favourite assignment so far, I hope Professor

Nazario loves the idea as well! I mostly

thought of my own art university where I

wanted to make this a thing from, I also had

some inspiration from the school, CEA, out of

TMWYB, which Nico wrote, but all in all, I

think Art Education would be really fun in a

wizarding style and therefore I had to make

some topics of interest that would be nice to

include. I hope this homework works as a

Wizarding School, as it focuses on Art, but I

loved it anyway. Thank you for reading this

blog, love, Elias.
