During the night, when none can see

It's on the hunt and there's no time to flee

As light as fabric and dark as night

Once it is near there is no use to fight

The only way you will go and not loose

The Patronus Charm you have to use

Warm is the night and calming the stars

But danger lurks for the unaware

A murder unable to be put behind bars

Similarity with a cloak its share

It slips in through spaces small

Where it finds in a sprawl

Once it has found you

There's no way to run

It's done before you even knew

It needs no weapon and no need to stun

It settles over you and stays comfortable

You will fade and it'll stay a fable

No one will hear you and no one will look

There will be no clue to ever uncover

It has hidden in its nook

No way to see under the dust cover

A new dawn rises and big is the shock

As your soul is no longer here
