hello you wonderful people! it’s
kenzie here. today i have a blog
for #aminohogwarts2024 ! more
specifically, the #coverAH24 chal-
lenge. i thought making a cover
would be a lot of fun (despite zero
skills or experience deg) &
it definitely was. the old covers
are such a classic but i thought it
would be better to make it fit into
a more modern version of fantasy
novels, which is the direction that
i went in. anyways, i’ll stop talking

screenplays! recently in fantasy
i’ve seen a big shift towards a
more “item-heavy” cover and i
wanted to emulate that in my
cover. all throughout the design
you can see elements such as
the golden snitch, dumbledore’s
want, and hedwig flying above
the castle. honestly, i could have
definitely done a lot better on the
drawn elements, but otherwise
i’d give this edit a solid 3.5/5.
