⸝⸝ weekend challenge, creating

⸝⸝ my own hogwarts class !

⸝⸝ I thought it would be fun

⸝⸝ as a student myself who

⸝⸝ loves academics to have a go.

⸝⸝ Lets get into it !

Magical Literature across the World

⸝⸝ I believe the only thing that

⸝⸝ Hogwarts really lacks aca-

⸝⸝ demically is the study and

⸝⸝ analysis of literature of the

⸝⸝ magical world and it’s

⸝⸝ authors. I think it would better

⸝⸝ inform the students of how

⸝⸝ the magical world has grown

⸝⸝ and developed through the years.

⸝⸝ It would give them an oppor-

⸝⸝ to study texts from even the

⸝⸝ times of the founders.

⸝⸝ Some might say it is very

⸝⸝ similar to history of magic, yet

⸝⸝ I believe, it further expands

⸝⸝ on it and focuses on what wizards

⸝⸝ and witches actually thought and

⸝⸝ felt in the past.

⸝⸝ It would also, in my opinion

⸝⸝ enable muggle born students to

⸝⸝ delve deeper into the world and

⸝⸝ understand the workings of

⸝⸝ the magical world even more and

⸝⸝ would be very popular amongst

⸝⸝ books worms I’m sure !

⸝⸝ Each year would study in

⸝⸝ depth three separate texts

⸝⸝ and a few more as context.

⸝⸝ The complexity of the books

⸝⸝ would increase as the years

⸝⸝ went on. They would be

⸝⸝ diverse and a number of

⸝⸝ themes would be studied

⸝⸝ relating to the texts.

⸝⸝ There would also be the

⸝⸝ inclusion of a muggle book

⸝⸝ to study every holiday and

⸝⸝ the Professor would guide

⸝⸝ them through it, using the

⸝⸝ skills learnt in the classroom

⸝⸝ on analysing written texts.

⸝⸝ Homework would be set based

⸝⸝ on the sections discussed

⸝⸝ in class and every month or

⸝⸝ two there would be an essay

⸝⸝ based on a theme of the

⸝⸝ novel studied.

⸝⸝ In the NEWT version however

⸝⸝ students would have a chance

⸝⸝ to pick their own book from

⸝⸝ the suggested list.

⸝⸝ place for each qualification

⸝⸝ and would be 2 hours for OWLS

⸝⸝ and 3 hours for NEWTS.

⸝⸝ Each student would be given

⸝⸝ essay titles to pick three

⸝⸝ questions from and to

⸝⸝ answer in that space of time.

⸝⸝ They would be allowed

⸝⸝ a blank copy of each text to

⸝⸝ enable them to write to the

⸝⸝ best they can in the time given.
