as hpa gathers, talents rejoice.

welcome everyone to this

year's community awards !

like every year, our most

anticipated event is back

and I am delighted to be

your host.

for those who have been

here for years, as Ava correctly

pointed out in 2020, you are now

already eligible for your hpa pension,

but if you are expecting cash from us,

don't. instead, you'll get some flashy

new titles for awards.

this year we have got some exciting

new categories, all courtesy of Mae,

and the existing old categories have

their own custom harry potter-centric

title names. so, without much further

ado, let's get started !

the hpa community awards are our

little way of saying thank you to

each other for a productive year of

fun and hard work.

we have a list of awards this year for

24 different categories that we nominate

for the who deserve those

awards to celebrate their achievements

throughout the year.

every , who wants to, makes a blog

nominating their chosen member for each

category, explaining why they think that

member is deserving of the recognition.

once all the nominations are posted

within the deadline, the votes will

be counted and the winners of each

category will be announced.

for this year's event, last time's

categories have returned with a

new twist and a few more new

additions.

for someone who used to be

active at some point before

going on a hiatus, reed hpa

this year and became active

again.

HPA On Topic : : HPA Granger 2024

for someone who posts about

actual hp. like analysis posts,

theories, reactions etc.

             read carefully !

              :snowflake: post your entry as a blog.

              :snowflake: for each category, include the  

              name of your nominee, a link to  

              their profile (mandatory) and a  

              description (also mandatory) of  

              why they deserve the award.

              :snowflake: you may nominate the same  

              member for a maximum of three  

              categories.

              :snowflake: if you are talking about their  

              work, make sure to include the  

              links to your favourite of their  

              posts.

              :snowflake: there is a special featuring  

              rule for the community awards.  

              compared to all other blogs,  

              nomination blogs may be featured  

              if they are of high quality even  

              though naturally they would not  

              relate to harry potter but this  

              community.  

              featured nominations may come in  

              handy in case of a tiebreaker where  

              we will be counting the amount of  

              featured nominations.

              :snowflake: any acts of bribery or fraud will  

              lead to the disqualification of  

              nominees, invalidity of votes and  

              will lead to an official warning/strike.  

              if a member is a repeater (i.e. have  

              indulged in fraudulent nomination  

              last year and repeated the same  

              behaviour this year) those member(s)  

              will be given an official strike.

              :snowflake: a member can only win in one  

              category.

              :snowflake: use the hashtag. #hpaca24 for

              your blog to be counted.

              :snowflake: you cannot nominate yourself.

              :snowflake: deadline : midnight of 31st dec.

             i.e. 11:59pm GMT.

              :snowflake: you may use the category names  

              in your bstead of the title  

              names to avoid confusion.

the votes will be counted next year

and the results will be posted

alongwith the hpa monthly blog.

to post within the deadline.

nominations won't be accepted after

the deadline had ed.

I want all of you to participate in this

challenge. do not take this event too

seriously. the aim is to create a nice,

clean memorable and fun blog without

having to judge it as a popularity contest.
