Hi! It’s Olivia back organising another edition! The theme for this edition is astronomy so we have some really cool edits and art to show you. Enjoy!

Description

I really like this edit! I enjoyed making a quote edit as it isn’t something I do often. I like how the background looks and I also like that the text stands out. If I did it again I would add a wider variety of colours into the background.

To start I chose a colour for the background and added some star themed textures. I then added the spaceman overlay with some planets. I then added the moon and the quote.

I kinda like this tpl. I do like how it fits with the astronomy theme and how the text looks but I think I could’ve added more detail and cut out the telescope better.

hello everyone! I'm celeste, I'm here to present two edits on the topic of astronomy! I really love this editions' theme and I really had fun with it. My edits are more centered to planets and our solar system. I hope you like them!

so the first edit I made was of the moon! I thought the moon was a perfect thing to edit for the theme astronomy, because it's so pretty, especially at night. I really wanted to highlight the moon and all its beauty at night. that's why for the BG of this edit, I went for a really dark purplish blue color to look like it's nightime. then, I added an overlay. They really make my edits look aesthetically pleasing, and I find myself using these kinds of overlays more often. then I added a second overlay, and that's the one I would put a picture of the moon in. I used a blending tool to get rid of the pictures edges, keeping the moon. and surrounding clouds in the picture. then I added text, from the classic song by Frank Sinatra. it's recognizable, and a perfect quote for the moon. The last thing I did was put on a filter from polarr. overall, really love this edit!

my next edit is of our solar system. it's such an important aspect of astronomy, I thought it'd be cool to make an edit of it. so, I the first I did was choose a BG color. I went with an red orange color, to match with the sun. next, I added two overlays, one for the BG itself, and the other for the sun. I did pretty much the same thing as what I did with the moon. I blended the sun picture into the overlay. then I found a really minimalistic picture of the rest of the planets. I put them near the side. then, I went onto phonto to add the text. lastly, I added a filter from polarr. I put a slight gradient on the edit, specifically, a radian gradient. it supposed to look like the sun is glowing, and the edit gets slightly darker the farther from the sun. overall, I don't hate it!

Hello! Sam here again with some astronomy edits.

So I am absolutely in love with astronomy and decided to make a funny edit first. The first edit is one based on what Ron said to Lavender during astronomy. Seeing as it's about Uranus, a planet, I decided to use the planets and the saying.

I did that by first searching for the planets and background on pinterest and then removed the background with Background eraser. After I went on PicsArt to put the pictures together and added an effect before finally adding text with Phonto.

For the second picture I wanted to do something with stars and constellations and ed that the Black's were named after stars, so I made an edit about them.

Firstly I searched the stars and put the name (and constellation) on the picture with Phonto. Then I went to PicsArt to put a collage together and added the last text in the middle. Last but not least, I added my name.

hello hpa!

as shown in the harry potter series, astronomy students mapped stars and followed movement of planets. i was originally going to draw a star chart, but i'm too lazy to sketch and ink all those complicated circles and whatnot. but, on pinterest i found a pretty and not too complex chart of our moon's craters(i think),and after comparing it to my other choices, i chose it.

step one:

i trimmed the parchment so it would match the reference, so i wouldn't be confused with proportions and whatnot.

step two:

i traced around a lantern for a large circle.

step three:

following the reference as closely as i could, i sketched out everything inside the circle.

step four:

i inked out everything, incorporating dots and lines for shading.

step five:,

i labled random craters (i wasn't about to do them all!) and added details i missed before.
