AH²⁴ :: Hogsmeade is Open

Hello students, and welcome back to our latest blog. We've had an exciting week these past few days, with nothing but more fun coming up! This coming weekend, opening on Friday, students can access the village of Hogsmeade!

As we wait to explore our lovely winter wonderland, check out the rest of this blog for more updates. We are currently hosting applications for a head team, with information to come out shortly. Our EC representatives have been chosen, the first quidditch match went off with a bang, and this year's plot has been quite active. Learn about our house points updates down below, too!

Head Teams

Before we get into the fun of it all, here's some exciting new updates: our head team! These will consist of Heads of Houses and Head Students! View the decisions here:

Hogsmeade

Have you been overwhelmed with lessons and homework? Are you full of worry over the state of our castle and dear heistress? Are extracurriculars only adding stress to your plate? Well then, look no further than Hogsmeade, your greatest relaxation and escape.

Opening next week, on Monday, July 22nd, Hogsmeade is available for students to complete some shopping and explore the town. Among other chat hosts we will have:

Tomes & Scrolls run by Auri

Three Broomsticks run by Niki

Honeydukes or Puddifoot's run by Aera

Before being able to look around the village, please do get your Caretaker Bella can make sure you are not sneaking out. Wouldn’t want to get in trouble now, would we?

Plot Update

After the students meeting with Theodore reveals that they must travel through time to restore the magic of hogwarts, the hunt for pieces of a time turner begins. First, the students arrive in the Forbidden Forest at the home of Trinklak Treetinker, who presents them with a portkey into Gringotts.

The students must outrun the goblins and, surprisingly, win a dance battle against the guards as they enter the vaults holding their prize. Once they grab hold of the first piece of the time turner, an hourglass with emerald green sand, the students were instantly transported back to Hogwarts.

However, the adventure doesn't end there. Just a few days later, the heistresses cat Kione leads the set of students into her office, where they must solve a puzzle to unlock the floo network in the fireplace.

They arrive in the Ministry of Magic, faced with three mysterious doors. First, the students pick the wrong doors and must solve riddles and puzzles only to end right back where they started. As they finally choose the correct door, they stand face to face with a sphinx who asks they three riddles. Getting down to their last chance each time, the students answer correctly and are handed the second piece of the time turner just before they teleport back to the castle.

Hufflepuff is still on top for now, slowly gaining the lead. Watch out as Slytherin sneaks up on you,though! And don't forget about Gryffindor and Ravenclaw who are fighting just as hard. In fact, let's look at our quidditch scores! So far, Ravenclaw has 50 points towards the quidditch cup, while Slytherin takes the lead at 150.
