𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞!
Welcome to my (super unofficial) HPA Wrapped!
With the New Year approaching quickly, I thought it would be fun to do a year in review of both my experiences here on HPA as well as some generally fun things that happened, inspired by Spotify Wrapped.
This post is going to be a little subjective, as it mainly deals with my experiences here, but there is going to be posts and things included that will be familiar to most of you who were here for at least a few months this year.
Before we begin, I’d like to thank everyone who helped me with this post (whose contributions you will see if you keep reading…), including Justin.
Alright, without further ado… let the (super unofficial) HPA Wrapped 2022 begin! 🦛

(I wish I was joking, but I literally went back and counted how many featured posts I liked this year)
I am never NOT in awe about how creative everyone here on the HPA is. My feed is constantly flooded by amazing edits, drawings, debates, and, of course, blogs.
This is a general bout of appreciation to everyone who takes the time to create/write/edit l/etc. to create content that we can all enjoy. Thank you!

Generally, Debate blogs are some of my favorite posts to read. This year specifically, I was extremely impressed by dozens of arguments I saw on countless topics. They were extremely well-reasoned, well-written, and showed an impressive level of consideration and sophistication.
I decided to go back through and read many of the argument posts I saw this year. There were dozens of amazing arguments. However, I believe that these posts in particular really represent the category well:

Another thing I really love about this community is how creative everyone is. Between fan fiction, drawings, blogs, and events, there are always new and innovative posts to look through.
These posts were some of my favorites! The ideas were so creative and executed in amazing ways.

Not only do we have a creative bunch of people here on the HPA, but really smart ones, too!
HPA intellectuals really pulled through this year with all sorts of breathtaking analysis posts that you can’t help but nod your head to while reading. Some of these posts include:

Both sincere and genuine, these posts just tugged on my heartstrings. Especially because, in this past year, the Harry Potter series has both had some momentous milestones (such as the release of a new movie and special) and tragedies (such as the ing of Robbie Coltrane) that have impacted the entire fandom in incredulous ways.
While I may be an overly empathetic, sympathetic, and generally sensitive person, I really believe to these posts connect with the community in such a authentic way.

Amino Hogwarts this year was a lot of fun!! It’s always great to take classes and roleplay with friends in all of the chats.
However, my favorite part of AH is Gryffindor team. I always meet the best people and have the best time practicing and playing matches (even if they can get very nerve wracking)
So, this is a thank you to everyone who makes it happen, from the students to the professors to the prefects and s.

Your post screams creative and to me, a Christmas addict, it was an absolute joy. I adore the movies and the fact you matched movies to the Hogwarts Houses is epic.
I actually laughed at Kenzie’s post due to the very accurate chaos she described and the idea was so good I was even beyond impressed. +It's the kind of posts I've been looking for lately.
For Aspen’s post I was so happy to see some creativity and something different than the usual posts. I've never seen a post about patches before and enjoyed reading about every step and looking at the result.
Mae’s post was hilarious and we had a discussion about it in pm before she posted it and even after she posted it I couldn't help but laugh. And her answers were my answers too and it was funny to see how we are in different houses, but gave the same answers.

Kayli's recent blog, What To Watch (Based on Your House!), is hands down one of my favorite blogs this year. Not only it's a great combination of creativity and brilliant blogging, but also it's very refreshing to read! I think what interested me the most is how she has mentioned some very specific genres and then have proceeded to allot a movie to each house (and a character) within the particular genre. It's safe to say that the selection of such perfect movies proves Kayli's fine taste in cinema. The details, the aesthetics, the content, everything about this blog is on point! She's an absolutely amazing blogger who never fails to amaze me with her skills.

So the reason why I liked this blog is because of how well written it was. It argued both sides perfectly and for some odd reason I really liked the writing style.
