This is a message I've been meaning to write for a while, but I'm not really sure what to say, or at least how to say it.
I'd like to start by saying thank you. Thank you to everyone who made Amino what it is. To the friends, the fellow leaders and curators, to those who made every day just a bit better by being in chatrooms, and even to the people I may have never met, every person on this Amino has impacted my life. I've met some lifelong friends in places that I may never go, made connections in countries I had never even heard of before, and I'm humbled by the experience I've had here.
I've been a part of the leadership team in Harmonizers for two and a half years now. Longer than I ever thought I would be. Not to say that I ever thought I would be a part of it to begin with, but that's just the way things went and I wouldn't change any of it. I hate to it it, but I don't have the time to give this community the attention it deserves anymore. I've taken on college classes, two part time jobs, and a research project. I hate to make excuses, so I'm not going to pretend my schedule will ease up anytime soon. My time as a leader here has finally come to a close.
I'm going to be ing the role down to Mat. He and Heba have been working with me for a while now, and I am completely confident in their skills and their vision for this community. The new curators we recently added, as well as everyone else on the team, are some of the hardest working people I know, and I am certain this place is in good hands.
Thank you to everyone who's stood by me for these years. Thank you for being a part of this community. To everyone I've worked with, everyone I've worked for, it's been an honor. It's sad to go, and Fifth Harmony and this Amino will always be a part of who I am, but as of today, I will no longer be the leader of this community.
I hope to come back online sometimes. I know I'll never completely leave this place. But it's time for a different role.
"I'm holding on to all the memories I can recall. Now I cherish every moment, big or small."
Thank you. Never be afraid to be who you are. If there's anything I've learned here, it's that there's always someone who can appreciate you.
