.•*+Backstory+*•.

Skippy was born in a mountain city a few miles away from Tree Town called Color Springs.

(guess what this is based on in real life~)

She was actually born very healthy, but during one very cold winter when she was 7, Skippy caught a nasty case of pneumonia which caused her to be hospitalized. There they found she was not only dealing with pneumonia but also suffering from asthma at the same time!!

It took her two weeks to recover but now lives the rest of her life with a deadly case of asthma. Because of this she wasnt allowed to be as active as she had wanted to be. Her mother kept her inside as much as she could, only allowing her to partake in calm activities where she learned how to work well in the kitchen. Baking was all that truely stuck as a hobby her mother had her try.

When Skippy was 16 she heard of the rumors of "the town where you never die" and set her future sights on moving there to finally be as active as she had always wanted to be.

Her mother forbade Skippy to leave. Saying she wouldnt last even a day outside. But Skippy was determined and on her 20th birthday she bought the ticket.

There was no I'll will between Skippy and her mother. She loved her mother very much and knew that her mother only cared for her well being...but keeping her locked up wasnt gonna do her any good either.

It took her a few years before she actually made it to Tree Town due to navigation complications. Noone seemed to know where exactly Happy Tree Town was or if it was a real place. So she stayed in a small studio apartment in a side town called Wash Rock. She was finally told by a traveling soldier the he knew a fellow sergeant who had moved to the area. He warned her of the rumors of the town curse, saying it made anyone inside the boarder immortal but with dire consequences. But she was still not deterred.

She officially moved into her own tree trunk house at the age of 25.

Her first death was a few days in. She had over excerpted herself and she had her first deadly asthma attack. It scared her so bad that she locked herself away for almost an entire week before g up for the town counseling. This is where she met Flaky who was waiting for her newly-confirmed partner, Flippy, to finish his session. Flaky became a dear, close friend instantly and they now stick closely together in the mits of the town curse.
